Tubin' home of Pooch and Repkord. Product info, tips, musings, demos, live streams, hype, MTM Podcast, behind the scenes stuffs, old ViewDo stuff, and general shenerdigans are just a few of the random things you'll find here.
I admire that you allowed this to stay up and note that the proper description of what's happening here by another creator, exists. It really helped to bring you views too. It's a win all around. Thank you for making this video in the first place and giving a space for discussions about all the science stuff
Theres no pressure involved here. You said it yourself, water is incompressible. The force at work is momentum. The bottle moves away from.the water and then the water rushes into the vaccumn formed and blows through the glass
Awesome episode! You've both got such great energy. I have a feeling I'll be binging some Plasma Channel videos soon The Rabbit hole discussion resonates really hard - the mix of perfectionism and shiny object syndrome definitely takes its toll This really helped me out today. Thank you!
The Physicsgirl told everybody her physics BS-ometer was going off when she saw your video. In other words, tell us you were hungover for every one of your physics classes without telling us you were hungover for every one of your physics classes.
I need to apply that start-up mentality to my design process. Perfection is always the ultimate goal, but needing it immediately holds me back quite a bit. Thanks for sharing this! 🙌
🤯 Wow! Awesome interview! Loved hearing the origin story! Insightful tips -- especially re: "consistency is key" Will need to replay to take some notes! Thanks so much for this!
@repkord Do you have alignment measurements for the linear rail holes on the mounting plate you could share since the kit is sold out on your site? Thanks!
has there been any formal research done to quantify how much stronger a sequentially printed part is vs traditional? this is profound and im having trouble finding metrics on how much better it is, which is weird for how hyper documented this stuff typically is
Thankyou so much for making this. I got a printer 2nd hand and the hot end was stopping in the middle of the bed when at 210mm and I couldn't figure out why, then saw the motor upgrades and followed your video to adjust settings. You're a life saver!
Came here from Physicsgirl to see how wrong this vid was. Good to see it was being called out even back when it first came out. Misinformation is worse than no information.
Dang, discussion vs comment is hitting hard, I’m leaving these comments as a mechanism to reinforce my own mental notes, but in a way that increases engagement for a channel I appreciate, and so much of this discussion touches on the positive aspects of what a platform could be.
What a great conversation...its probably the only 3d platform head that has done such a candid conversation behind their philosophy and strategy ...would love if the next one can be done with audience questions !
I love the ideas around the 25 or so minute mark around connecting consumers that value something with the creators that create it. The used car salesman offer vs the vintage car collector thought is the foundation of arbitrage. As those connections becomes more accessible, the middlemen between buyer and seller become less relevant.
I wouldn’t want to be so intrusive as to ask pure mrr, but it would be good to know the percentage of growth in mrr they are seeing as a function to determine the average growth rate of creators adopting the platform.
You need a comfortable and portable boom mic setup. Lol. My first thought is a kick drum boom mic, but I think there are some other options with the clamp on engineer lamp style stands.
I'm curious, have you tried many different brands of hairspray and found any variance in performance - and have you tested 3D-Lac? Not sure whether I am a baller or a schmuck for buying 12-packs of the stuff, it works better than the generic hairsprays I tried, but maybe I tried the wrong ones?
Hi there, Any known problems with loading the podcasts onto any of the services? Both my Apple podcast and Spotify are showing the last loaded show as June 3rd. Just trying to not miss out.
