Jesus christ lad i expect a lot more research then this look at our net spend over the past 3 years is better then every other club in the league other then brighton
Do your own research instead of taking this guys word as gospel, just look at Everton’s net spend over the last 3 years. Only Brighton have a better net spend in the PL over those 3 years yet this guy literally said “Everton have net spent heavily in the past 3 seasons” 🤦♂️
8:29 “With heavy net spending over the last 3 seasons“… are you drunk man? Brighton are the only PL club over that period with a better net spend than Everton 🤣
@@NumbersBehindtheNet I don’t mean to be horrible mate but should you really be running a numbers account if you don’t know actual figures? Too many believe the nonsense from the likes of Spurs’ camp about Dele costing Everton 40m
Until the man city cheats are sorted, does any of this matter. Its not a competition anymore. VAR cheating referees have destroyed the game. I still think the site of the new ground was a mistake. Everton should have built a new stadium on the grounds of Everton womens pitch at Walton Park and kept Goodison for the women's and reserve games. Regent Road is just 1 big long industrial estate with very poor infrastructure for the fans..
Absolutely bollocks, Moshiri’s debt is to be turned into equity and does not stand in the total debt,so £450m does not stand. The stadiums currently valued at over 1b, I wish Everton would chase up on the shite like this published
One of the biggest issue is the ability to find assets within the academy or from player purchases to gain cash every year, The more assets we sell to survive the Championship the less likely it is that we will gain promotion back to the PL. I genuinely hope we can just keep performing at a good level in the Championship and not get ourselves in further financial trouble as I don’t think the owners will be putting money into the club without a realistic return on what they refer to as an investment.
Will Norwich City need to sell before the end of June before they look to mount another challenge for Premier League promotion??! Let us know your thoughts!
At the end of FY23 there was < £0.1m in amounts borrowed (the last of the Co-op bank loan was paid in Jan 2023) - so minimal debt compared to >£10m back in 2014
I have a question for you. There are a lot of Swans fans out there who say that the new American owners have taken huge amounts of money out of the club since they took over. Their argument is that Swansea have sold players for around £180 million in that time and spent around £20 million on new players. So they ask, where is the money (£160m)?
Hi Andreas - from the financials the short appears to be to cover cash outflows from the club's operations (not uncommon for Championship clubs) Looking at 7 years from 16/17 to 22/23: Cash absorbed from operations (£96m) Cash made from transfers (net) £51m [£206m sold, £155m bought] Cash spent on capex (facilities etc) (£10m) The sum of those 3 are cash outflows of £55m The owners have funded £49m over that period (majority appears to be through equity)
@@NumbersBehindtheNet Thanks. According to Transfermarkt, Swans have bought in that period for £135m and sold for £232m. Your numbers are different (for almost £50m). So, if I understand correctly, you are saying that the owners haven't taken money out of the club?
Out of date, the club made a 21.43m profit 2023/2024 and have owners that are worth over 19billion. 15M has just been injected into the club on top of that and a 4.2m sponsorship deal with undefeated and Nikie collaboration plus the pay per click generated 16m to date and is ongoing. This video was a waste of good editing.
This all seems quite out of date, presumably off the back of published accounts. When you say 2023 do you mean 2022/23? If so that's pre Knighthead. The new owners have said had we stayed up we would have had the largest revenue outside the relegated teams with their parachute payments, following the huge amount of commercial work they've done. Plus this summer we're getting rid of the final large player contracts as they come to an end and we have received further payments related to the Bellingham sale to Real Madrid.
it's not it's out of date 2022/2023 is pre-Knighthead the club made a 21.43m profit 2023/2024 and have owners that are worth over 19billion. 15M has just been injected into the club on top of that and a 4.2m sponsorship deal with undefeated and Nikie collaboration plus the pay per click generated 16m to date and is ongoing. The club turned over 40m 21.43m of that is profit.
No there isn’t it’s worse, Instead it’s the Salary Cost Management Protocol (SCMP) is the Financial Fair Play rules for all League One and League Two Clubs. The SCMP requirement is whereby a Club's Player-Related Expenditure shall not exceed the sum of 60% or 50% of the Club's Relevant Turnover for League One and League Two Clubs respectively. So In theory its worse
You're right Mark but they can also include 100% of"football fortune income" (may be the oddest name yet!) which includes player sales and equity cash injections in that revenue number
@@Mark12106 In the first season following relegation the sum is 70%. There are some exclusions on this relating to home grown players under the age of 20 which are not counted in the wages turnover. This will exclude the wages of Jordan James and George Hall for a start. A number of players currently on substantial wages are out of contract this summer and probably a few contracted players will not want to play in League One. They will generate additional, albeit, modest transfer fees and savings on wages. If Real Madrid win the Champions League Blues will get additional £3.5m on the Jude Bellingham deal. The new owners are spending £15m this summer on a variety of projects across the club including improving the corporate facilities in the railway end stand and two match day fan zones to increase revenue. I don't think they would be doing this if they were not confident that they can make the team successful on the pitch. They can and, they will. The financial situation is not great for many clubs but we really don't have the full details. Much will depend on what the club does to generate income but their plan is to do this via corporate sales and partnerships. All Blues fans just need to be glad this relegation did not come 12 months ago before Knighthead took over. We really would have been in serious trouble if that had happened. Believe in the club. KRO.
It's not true it is bullshit the club made a 21.43m profit 2023/2024 and have owners that are worth over 19billion, 15M has just been injected into the club on top of that and a 4.2m sponsorship deal with undefeated and Nikie collaboration plus the pay per click generated 16m to date and is ongoing.
