PNE have a top 6 squad now. Ryan Lowe has done a fantastic job. For years we have been a mid table team.

Arguably! Top 9 definitely I’d say. I don’t see many incoming transfers in the summer given our still inflated squad numbers and the fact that academy players will be coming through next season too. Millar on a permanent deal, possibly a RCB and RWB will be most likely so I’d say 2/3 incoming transfers. All dependant on key player sales of course 👍🏼

Some fans are still calling for the Hemmings family to bust the budget. There leads the road to hell. With these figures it looks like the Hemmings family must be mad to keep pumping in the money

There isn’t a possibility of increasing the budget because it all comes down to Financial Fair Play. We get a set budget every year that is based off how much loss we make in a 3 year period. You increase your budget via player sales revenue and things like TV revenue which the likes of Leeds will always get the most from.

No they aren’t, it’s more about how the money is spent. Fully appreciate the money put in, invested correctly and the turn over figures won’t look so bad. Poor grade of academy and the contract situation is concerning.

Yes but you don't 'lend' a championship football club that kind of money ever expecting to get it back do you. Thankfully Mr Hemmings and the Hemmings family have continued to support the club to the level they have. @@NumbersBehindtheNet

That could well be the case Martin - we can only show that the cash was given to the club as a loan rather than invested as further equity.

We have no “debts” by Financial Fair Play rules, but that’s a made up system to accommodate the astronomical wages of footballers and management staff etc. Since being back in the championship, annually, we make a loss of 10-15 million pounds every year and are indebted to the Hemmings’ and other investors for £85m+. “Professional” football is the worst business system in the world.
