Here in France its got to the point where we don't go to bars. Restaurants are getting ridiculous. Gas, petrol, diesel abot 50% higher than 2019. Regular food shopping to high. This will collapse the economy.
current "moderate" governments don't give a fuck about poor people, they're hostages of big capital, that's why people are turning into populist radical movements. not great.
All that excessive government spending, public debt and green policies are starting to pay off. This is just the start. In the following years, as your workforce gets older and the social spending balloons, you will feel a much tighter squeeze on your income.
Of course food price will increase over the next years. Where are the sustainable crops? The agro-forests? The regenerative agricultural fields? Nature cannot keep up.
Great solution, who is gonna give you a job then? The government? Profit has an informative function, without profit there would be no innovation and no production. The problem is the myopic state spending in pensions, ineffective social welfare and green industrial projects and so on.
@@Mastercane98 the problem is not on the spending side but on the income side. More income means less taxes means more buying power which means more profit for the wealthy. The wheel is stuck in the mud. Reducing costs would only lead to a total collapse of the economy.

We have been accustomed to high standards of living because natural resources where cheap and low skill labour wasn't a problem thanks to generous subsidies for inefficient business. Now the subsidies are gone and the bill came due, all the past excesses of inefficient spending is making all of us poorer. If you try to tax rich people wealth will flee elsewhere, if you raise income tax the marginal utility of work will decrease. What ought to be done is to become more conscious of how funds are being allocated.
The green new deal, Green solutions, and carbon credit will starve us all in the street. This is going to be unpopular, but modernized nuclear power will save all of us. It will create jobs, an abundance of power for our people, and we can resell isotopes and reserve power.
Europe's focus on genetically modified foods, and the "organic" movement are misplaced. The pesticides and fertilizers increase production and these foods are safe. Europe is experiencing such high inflation because of energy prices. You should disband the E.U. and leave N.A.T.O. You'll still be poor (when compared with the U.S.) but price levels will fall dramatically. Idiotic to get rid of your nuclear plants. Really foolish.
Well…every country basically doubled their money supply in two years from 2020 to 2021. Who thought that we could do that and NOT have that printed money push through the system and cause this kind of inflation? Also…how many tomatoes can one eat? Where is the protein gonna come from? Also…if you are saving $2,000 euros with the garden…well…you have to spend time in the garden. You probably could get $3,000 with the same amount of time just getting another job. You would be $1,000 ahead by NOT doing the garden.
At least in germany you got only 7% sales tax on food. Guess what sales tax we pay on foods in Denmark lol. 25% its absurd. We are also so lucky that we get to pay more in tax on electricity than the cost of electricity itself lol

Let me tell you where Europe went wrong, very simple - Israel. You worshipped a group that wrote how they would delete Europe and you still worshipped them.
Let's say you have a 3000 gross salary. It is taxed by income tax, health insurance and social security. You as an employee pay a certain amount and your employer pays a certain amount. I just calculated it using Employee cost and tax calculator for 2024. When it all adds up your total price of work gets around 3630, but your netto salary is only 2150 (59% of 3930), thats why she says that all combined it is around 43% taxation.
This lady doesn't seem to understand that if it wasnt a "socialised" healthcare system her taxes paid for she would be paying 10x more and be much poorer just like the average American. If she wants a place where she doesn't have to pay tax she can go to Liberia and see how she likes it. Europe political class have made a mess of things no doubt, but they've been pushing us further and further to the failed American neo liberal economy and thats why. We haven't been taxing enough, especially the super wealthy

@@jakubantal2546 The majority of the healthcare spending goes to the elderly 70+, the bums you mentioned dont even have the money to buy a bus ticket to the hospital.
Tax more and people will lose their incentive to work and innovate. What you need is exactly the opposite, less spending on pensions, less spending on healthcare and more on education and research and development.
@@Mastercane98 not true. In Europe we have a strong welfare, so a family with 2 parents and 2 kids, lives perfectly fine just on welfare and kids allowance. All the unemployed have heath insurance paid by the government, so everyone gets the same standard. Bum who never worked day in his life and Executive paying boatload of taxes have the same treatment, that's why you eventually have to go private even tho you pay all these taxes.
@@jakubantal2546 I live in Europe too and that's not the case in most european countries, with the exception of maybe Sweden. The bums dont receive a penny, a lot of people in Germany live on the streets. I doubt they have seen a doctor in years. The problem with government spending is the older generations, they were promised a certain living standard and now that social cost is becoming unbearable. The more you spend on welfare the fewer jobs there will be and the more people will live in poverty. Most welfare systems, such as the one in japan, are not designed to help those who do not have wealth, mainly a stable residence.

These average premiums each increased 7% in 2023. The average family premium has increased 22% since 2018 and 47% since 2013.' ...the increase is much larger in 2024 and shows no signs of abating - and the premiums do not cover many aspects plus any deductable...

Health care is not paid by tax. All that money is going to private companies. And yes, there's a lot of things you don’t understand. A lot, a lot of things.
Watch soon there will be tax revolution worldwide, it will have to get worse before it gets better. Everything is taxed, EVERYTHING. Your income taxed, food taxed, fuel taxed, living taxed, water taxed, electricity taxed, etc etc EVERYTHING is taxed, meaning if you get a salary there might be 30-50% income taxed away, then that money left over is taxed when you buy food, where the person who grew that food is ALSO taxed on that, then housing is even ridiculously high thus high tax as well, can't even move around as all transportation is taxed... if you go and look at your actual tax load, you'd realize you are probably paying 70% tax of your TOTAL income, absolute joke. No need for so much tax as governments can be much smaller and more efficient with technology. policing, military and courts I understand the costs, but a lot of the rest of services you don't need government really. Privatize most services, as it will actually be EXTREMELY cheaper overall as there would be no middle man taking and more competition.
It's always like that, everywhere. They say that the inflation was 4% overall but energy rise is let's say 10%, food 13% and so on. I guess they count in there the luxury products which rise very slowly in price if at all.
Its the same in Sweden, a high-tax country where nothing works. Police doesnt work, health care doesnt work, the roads are looking like shit, schools are total shit (worst in OECD) Health care here doesnt work, bu like surgery sometimes works, but nothing else, like laying in a hospital here is very bad. They are poisoning the patients with the toxic food. But its because of corrupt government putting money on migrants and shipping money abroad due to advanced money laundering schemes.
That's what happens when you give too much power to the state, high redistribution and various inefficiencies disincentivize work. There is a need of some level of welfare, although it ought to be tied with learning a new trade or developing functional skills which are required by the market.

The thing about ebikes is they're really heavy, I wouldn't trust being able to charge them in an emergency situation. I prefer staying in shape and using my MTB with ultralight gear
well, its going to get worse that's no big deal, people need to start having loyal meaningful loyal long-term relationships and work together to pay the monthly bills together instead of suffering being single living with roommates, or in a car etc , etc.. oh well that's people's choice. I spend 30-40 USD a week for my entire week food i cook at home I don't eat out much. Rent? that's 1800usd for a 1 bedroom not too bad.
