My dad knew. He had the highest security clearance in the US, had worked at NASA, and for the Air Force. My f-i-l was in the intel service in DC (but mostly abroad) and both these men were serious about stockpiling food etc. Both are long gone but everything they predicted to us at the end has come to pass including the various social issues and “bedroom issues” and loss of faith in God. I ran a fever and had violent emesis all night the same day. I woke up feeling fine but couldn't visit for 3 days. His doctor told us in Jan 2020 the hospitals were about to go insane , it was about $$$, and told all his patients to NOT take breathing treatments at any hospital. He refused to sign the agreements (confidentiality) and couldn't practice at the hospitals.
