Hi my friend. I got tonex max it has 100 amp more selection and 50 pedals could upload my amplitude 5. I mean do you find any good amp or pedals you think is good in tonnex max? Maybe share some amp or pedals name you think is wonderful and worth to try. Some of it in tonnex max are suck or maybe I just don’t know how to use properly.

Hi friend!! Although I don’t have Tonex Max I can imagine that there’s a lot of fluff (less useful gear) in there. I think that when it comes to captures, you have to be more deliberate and just choose the things you really need, I find that captures get really expensive, really quickly. Talking to friends and colleagues, it seems to be consensus that there’s a few great companies with great captures, that you should probably buy directly to save some money. But just make sure you are getting captures you know you like already. You can find great captures from: the studio rats, amalgam or tone junkies. Those 3 companies are really doing a killer job! I own a few of their captures and they’re stellar!! I hope this helps!

That's awesome that they're finally letting people demo without the noise. As a customer I do like that IK Multimedia is evolving, improving, and patching their software and continuously working creating new products. They've made a lot of good Quality of Life updates over my time with them. So it seems they have a future worth investing in for the time being. Excellent demo! These amp captures do sound great!

What a amazing captures!! The best category for Satriani Tonex Collection is "Shut up and play it now!". My favorite was Marshalls, Fenders and Colossal. Thanks my friend for this video. Greetings. :8)

I agree with you man!! They’re all great, but some were simply MAGIC! Definitely a little Marshall piece of heaven lol but I feel like the Jazz Chorus was better than the ones I’ve tried and that mini colossus, what a revelation 🤣🤣🤣 thanks for your comment my friend!! I appreciate you!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Hi thanks for the great Demo love your honest opinion, i have tested the tones and they sound great😊 i am so tempted to buy, but I would just feel much better if these were officially approved by the amp manufacturers. So ethics wise What is your thought on that. I believe that this is the future that amp manufacturers jump on board and also get a piece of the cake😊 like ik multimedia did with the mesa boogie reference series for tonex cheers

I totally agree with you! I think it makes sense, in an artist related collection, to not have the brands directly represente because the amps are moded and such. And since in the description they quote the signal chain and all, I give them a pass 🤣🤣 but I agree with you, credit deserves to live where credit is due! Thanks for your nice comment my friend! Do you also see it that because these are also modded to Joe satrianis specs and then the whole signal chain in the capturing process I.e. api desk, eq, chosen cabs, speakers and microphones that in this way it is more a certain sound which one cannot buy as such stock when buying a real amp? I have to be honest, they really don’t sound good. Maybe they could be auxiliary sounds to help fill-in the EQ spectrum on a recording, but most of these wouldn’t really be usable on a gig and such. Just go with amalgam and be done with it.

Wow that 6100 Lead sounds awesome. It has that Marshall grit 🙂. Great tones thank you for the review 🙌. I just don't understand why there's no way to use amplitube pedal chain with this amps 😢

RICK!!!!!! WOW!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 thank you so much for your support my friend!! 😱😱 I really appreciate it! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 honestly all the Marshall captures were amazing!! And I think I couldn’t use it in amplitube because I was running the free trial. Usually they only show once you own the collection. I think, that’s what happened to me before I got tonex, as soon as I got the license in, I was able to pull them up on amplitube, in my opinion 🤣 the right way to use tonex models is inside amplitube, the tonex app is too limited, I guess that should be how we capture and then straight into AT! 🤣 anyway, I hope you have a wonderful weekend my friend!
