The opening is outstanding. The dry down confuses me though. I'm not sure what it's doing. The base is the ghost of Terre D'Hermes. Should it be more forward? I don't know. Is it too light and ephemeral? I don't know. It's a summer scent, so maybe it needs to be light. I do like it a lot. The dry down is the hook
Having owned both Creed Aventus and CDNIM, and never having tried Green Irish Tweed, I got this in the mail today. I didn't like the initial spray, upon dry down, for me anyway I'm not getting Aventus or even CDNIM. I'm assuming it's more of a G.I.T. comparison. It smells super clean, very soapy to me, like I walked out of the shower after using really expensive soap to bathe with. It's definitely not my favorite cologne, but I agree it will work in spring/summer months when I'm at work. It's nice, but doesn't pop off for me the way I expected it to, so I won't be using it when I'm out on a date. Each of us has our own scent profile, and what works or doesn't work for one person can obviously do the same for someone else. I'm looking forward to V.R. Spice Bomb Extreme coming, and Club De Nuit Sillage, and Precioux 1.
Hell yes, Continuum and Atlas are fantastic, just ask any female who smells them. And few people wear them, so you are unique. And they last longer than most fragrances, a good 8 hours. I bought at Belk on sale, 50% off gift sets. $62.50 for a big bottle and a travel bottle.
That's strange because mine does have a cap that locks in( I've seen other reviews and it seems that it is a normal function of its cap). Other than that it is truly a great fragrance with rich and long lasting.
I got this 2 days ago and it smells like mushy puke to me, not fresh at all. Not picking on Versace but my experience with this was not good at all. Wife said the same thing. Been trying it over and over again too hoping it'll change, cause I really wanted to like it. The bottle is beautiful. What a let down.
Bought Hugo Intense 2 days ago and i love it. The bottle says it all. It´s very red fruity. I know frag snobs will complain about this but the the normal person with less than 30 fragrances will find this great. Fruity fresh and warm. A fresh daily driver if you don´t wanna think about what to wear. 2-3 spray is all i need. I had 2 people in the car the day i bought this and they both loved it smelling it from the test on my arm.
Just got VPH along with Armaf's Ventenna Marine which is a clone of BDC. The Versace Pour Homme smelled very unfresh, and mushy like on my skin. It stunk. The Armaf's Ventenna Marine smelled fresh and oceanic. Had high hopes for Versace Pour Homme, but was so bad smelling that I refuse to give it away. Wouldn't want anyone else to smell like, blue mushy puke.
I call this one the "baby maker". It's an absolute pocket rocket, it's smells divine. Very addictive, she will love it & be a magnet to you. I have easily over 30 sprays in my collection all designer. This easily sits in the top 3.
I blind bought that same Carolina Herrera Insignia, stupid me. To me, I can barely smell it, no projection at all, and when I do smell it, it smells a little jammy.
I have 12 cremos. I only dislike 4. Blind naught all of them. Hemp golden amber, bourbon and oak, vintage suede, sandalwood and amber are originally my top 4 I use most. Reserved blend you spoke if was my first. I love it along with all the 2 others you mentioned

Good review. I blind bought it and was really worried about it because I'm only in high school and I herd that it has a older vibe to it. But I ended up really liking it, and also for the price, great value. I don't really like the super sweet fragrances that people my age buy and spend 100+ on. Its crazy to my and it really just looks like insecurity to me.🤷♂
