Also great option would be Montale Red Vetiver. If not The Best option really It smells like 80% Terre d'hermes with great longevity and projection and is not that expensive. It smells even smoother . Beast scent
Here worth mentioning Rasasi Fattan, a very affordable yet dead-on clone of Terre D'Hermes. Another one is a Spanish brand fragrance Esencias de Saphir Vetiver & Moss EDT, learned about it from a Spanish fragrance reviewer on YT, Carlos Rubio. I got one in December in a Primor store in Madrid. Right now I see unfortunately it says "No disponible" ("Not available") at least on their pages. It's sold for the unbelievable price of only €3.99, and that's for a set with a 150ml bottle and an extra 30ml bottle. It smells just like Terre D'Hermes, maybe a close flanker of it, and a good one at that, as Carlos Rubio points out in one of his videos. Unbeatable value really.
Artisan Pure earlier batch was really good, much better than Artisan which smells too cheap, synthetic, and unbalanced. It was the fragrance it should have been, Good balance between citrus, spices, white florals and wood. My two favorite citrus woody aromatics in the same line as Terre are Darwin by Fueguia 1833 and Roja Oligarch/Isola Blu but they are so overpriced it's hard to recommend them to anyone, especially the Roja. Outrageous. But if you like Terre you gonna love these.
These all seem like inexpensive designer frags. A really good expensive niche frag inspired by Terre d'Hermes is Roja's Oligarch or Isola Bleu. The cheaper Terre similar fragrances I have are David Beckham Instinct and Oscar for Men by Oscar de la Renta (1999). Both sort of like cheap precursors to the Terre d'Hermes scent profile.
Definitely doesn't smell like leather. No idea where that idea comes from. Have never heard anyone say that before. The pronunciation of Terre D'Hermes has also been butchered. It's not a difficult one to say.
