Mafia III is a case of a game with a really great story and setting but the gameplay is horrible. Its so repetitive and boring with little to no nuance, it doesn't do anytbing new or exciting and after the first 4 hours you've essentially experienced 99% of what the game offers
I liked your Mafia 3 review because you saw how it was spit in the face to the legacy of 1 and 2. The DE is also seen like that by old fans of 1, a total re-adaptation being called "definitive" like a replacement just because this generation doesn't have an attention span for the classic masterpiece, and it's a shame to see reviews so completely uncharitable to it as well. apparently modern = good. challenging = bad.
I’m glad you said you changed your mind on the soundtrack for the movie version of Miami Vice, because you can’t take a screen grab that shows two of the most badass Audioslave songs and say it’s bad. I was ready to throw hands. 🤣
You could’ve just bought the PS2 version and then emulated it on your PC or you could’ve just pirated it even though that’s kind of illegal. No one gives a damn anymore.
tell your friends 🤷♂️ if I can make money off this, I’ll be able to upload way more. Otherwise it’ll continue being slow for now, appreciate the support tho!
Maybe not until the end of July, it’s a big ass game and I have a lot to say, and unfortunately I’m not a full time RU-vidr, or even a part time RU-vidr so I don’t always have time to work on it but it’s comin
As someone whp lovingly played GTA3 throu several times I have to say that even with game fixing mods VC feels underbacked, IDKY but in GTA3 I still had the feel of fun playing it with EVERYTHING completed ... that somehow is missing in VC. VC feels more like a trailer to a TV series but with missing content, everything is build for show but feels shallow underneath. Idk, maybe if they had added more content and refrences of other media as gameplay and core mechanic maybe then it wouldn't be just a okay game.
The actual story was great let down by the repetitive gameplay in every sense and the dlc was how the whole game should have been and clearly they understood that with the mafia 1 remake and hopefully 4 will use that as the model
If you don’t like LA Noire, can you make a video saying why? I think it’d be interesting and funny (if the vids not entirely unfair&subjective) but idk up to you dude
The drop in quality compared to the first 2 games was jarring to say the least. My initial thought was that they must have had a much lower budget for this game but I couldn’t find source on this. The studio shift must have played a huge factor though. Compared to the first two this game was clearly not crafted with love and care. Shame this franchise had such a strong identity and it complements GTA and Red Dead really well in the crime sim genre. I hope Hangar 13 gets the resources to make Mafia 4 with production value on par with 2.
Mafia 3 had an excellent story but the gameplay was just awful. The missions were painfully repetitive and, while the gunplay was fun, I just got really bored. I made it through it but I was so disappointed. If it wasn't for that soundtrack...
@danvsclips8326 I mean maybe someday, I played the first 3 chapters of GTA 1, I found little to enjoy so I just probably won’t give it another try for a long while
@@ihavenothoughts I mean if you want the simple option there's a extremely high quality fan made modern PC port that also includes London 69 and 61. GTA Ready2Play on the GTAforums. Tell me if you can find it
Saying mafia 3 is good for tackling racism and then says all the Italians in Mafia 2 are Hard to tell apart. only similarities is most of the characters have black hair you can easily tell them apart
I really enjoyed this game. Not the best in the series, as that belongs to the first game, but it’s a second for sure. Mafia 2 was fine but the gameplay brought it down for me; story wise though, I liked it. Vito & Joe were really good characters. As for Mafia 3’s gameplay, repetitive asf and that’s what brought it down. But I still really enjoyed the climaxes for each, so it felt worth it to me, but yes, it was very repetitive and bland as you said haha they coulda done way more
cant believe you never played a gta before 5, thats sad, my first one was vice city when i was like5 becuase one of my sisters friends brother borrowed it us and i just watched my brother play it, he was probably 11 so yeah
