"...diffusion is well known to be anomalous at all times. But if the hierarchy is finite, diffusion is anomalous at short times and normal at long times." Yer arse.
I had it recorded on tape, in the 1960s, recording the theme song of “Family Affair”, this is a FAMILY TV show, the announcer said “brought to you by …” and one of their sponsors was a cigarette sponsor !!! 😮😮
DROP OUT OF SCHOOL. GET EXPELLED. It’s not worth it when you’re teaching yourself, like I did… Buster Keaton only had one day of school in his WHOLE life, lucky him!!! 😊😊😊
Little in the way of trailers or even continuity slides "Tomorrow at 5.10pm... now back to this afternoon and Blue Peter..." One programme ends and the Continuity Announcer simply introduces the next one.
I miss these ads and the good ole days. I grew up in the 70's and I miss those days a lot. Living with my parents and in Yorba Linda. Ya, the 1970's was a good decade.
The British press mostly the awful Sunday tabloids have no conscience. Russell came across as a nice bloke. Who was brilliant at what he did. News of the World and it's despicable owner will be remembered with anger and hatred. Russell is remembered with a smile.
An "unnamed local celebrity" was mentioned in a court case in Yorkshire when a local video shop owner was convicted for supplying imdecent images and videos of children. After Russell Harty died, the Daily Mirror said the unnamed celebrity was him and that he had kept a collection at the video shop. It's unclear whether this was actually true or not. Certainly, the tabloid press were vicious fabricators back then, and regularly targeted Harty. His friemd Alan Bennett said the press targeting had been responsible for Harty's early death.
I remember watching this during my primary school days Due to both my parents being at work, my brother and I would come home to my grandparents and watch telly Good times 😊
He should only have allowed it in anticipation of the potential claim of deviation if the speaker failed to describe the possibility that, unbeknownst to everybody, he had been.
People don't really know just how much of a pioneer Jerry was/is for sardonic humour in Britain. You can guarantee Ricky Gervais, Frankie Boyle and Jimmy Carr studied him carefully.
