Toby lived hard and fast. He knew what he wanted to do on this earth and he did it. He lived alot of years in his short time. He's our hero, if only we can do a third of what he did and he did it from love. Strive to make America great, be a "TOBY WARRIOR", we can do it if we pull together and trust in GOD, like Toby did.
My heart hurts for her. Spending almost 40 years with someone and then they're gone and you have to navigate life alone. The void he left must feel unbearable😢
Tricia thank u for helping toby teach us how to live. I am disabled at apt in pain all time he text me evvery day to calm and love me to know someone cared even in his pain trace strung me along 2 years I was hiss world we get married then he got mean told me I was too ugly to be seen with him but no one else could have me I was his. I turned down. Record contract in 70s I was fat and shy toby said don't listen to him ur beautiful I can't imagine how u must miss him but u were blessed with God's. Best angel I was about to give up and pray to go home but I am counting on God's best angel to help me win this fight God. Bless u and ur family ur in my prayers debbie
The world has lost a remarkable man, not just one of the greatest American Artist and Songwriter, but a God fearing family man, that did so much for others, and most never knew. Prayers over his grieving family, as they have to go forward without their rock.
He was so humble....when he was alive not many people knew all the good he did. It's not until after his passing, we hear of all the wonderful things he did. I believe Toby wanted it that way - he did not want anyone to know what he did; he did not want to be thanked/glorified.

What a wonderful giving and caring man he was. He was a blessing in disguise. He never wanted recognition for the things he's done. Totally from his giving and loving heart. He will be missed by so many. But will live thru us all forever. Bless his beautiful family. RIP TOBY!!!
This hurts so much to watch. He was taken much too young, and was just one of the best ones. His wife seems like his equal...very down to earth, sincere. Good people! He had to be a nice man, married a single mom and adopted her child. RIP Oklahoma could use more men like him. I have a neighbor that is a single mom and the loser and absent father is not there for her beautiful bonde blue eyed children. So sad. I grew up with two parents, we are all from the same father. My parents were married until the end. My children grew up with two parents. None of my grandparents were divorced or had children from different men. They married forever and ever. I feel sorry for the children now a days. I see my neighbor struggling! It’s sad for the children.
