And that one guy who said "the devs know people will just quick load" then what's the excuse for players on hardcore were you can only save in a bed? Also josh shit leveling isn't even the problem with this... Cuz how about people who DO play properly? Not everyone is walking around with 85 charisma... In fact MOST players i didn't even think actually maxed out charisma/speech as a casual blind play. Since most people are more likely leaning into weapons and healing. Also, seriously 1) using"you aren't min/maxing your first playthrough" as an excuse is a terrible take. And 2) "some players save scum" is a shitty excuse to forgive stuff. Some players also turn on godmode so why do we give enemies any form of damage or offer healing items?

I know this was his first playthrough but man ... Josh posesses a great intellect and is well versed in rhetorics, but this playthrough is painful to watch. It´s as if he loses ALL of his curiousity and intelligence and just tunnel visions down the main quest. I dont get it.
@@mementomori771 I quit watching at the 20th hour ish mark, so I might not have the full picture, but let me give you an example of the things he's missed, which is both valuable as content on its own and as more context to the world building: 1. Completely slipped Sloan 2. Carelessly blocked himself out of all Khan content 3. Disregarded Legion and therefore the entirety of their content Personally, the worst moment is in that small adventure of him trying to find the labcoat. Josh goes to Judy ONLY because chat told him to and does her quests ONLY when chat tells him to. Takes the note which details what meds she needs, doesn't read it, asks chat and completely forgets the moment after, buys all of her stock instead. Then asks her AGAIN, and buys... rad-x, the thing that no-one asked for. If it isn't indicative of the fact that he either 1. Doesn't care enough to read and pay attention 2. Has Alzheimer's, then idk
@@mementomori771 you'd be forgiven to think that he does a lot of the side content as FNV is masterfully crafted to include most of it into the main quest road anyway

1:15:26 For me, this was gaming. Pretty much every person I've dated, all my friends, none of them were gamers and would always give me such a hard time about it and make it sound like what I was doing was pointless and a waste of time. Of course, then they would spend 8 hours a day scrolling their phone lol
