ME1 is a true rpg, ME2 is a cover shooter with some rpg elements, ME3 is pretty much just a cover shooter. I also agree ME1 is better by far for my tastes. ME2 & 3 had much broader audiences when it came out, because they were more shooter and less rpg mechanic heavy and that made it easier for more casual players to pick up and play.

Also theres no Mako in ME2 - instant downgrade 😊

ME1 story is epic and amazing with a solid ending. ME2 story is ok but really not that epic. ME3 has an choice of endings that basically makes all previous choices pointless. Beyond story ME1 gameplay is just more fun as it feels right exploring planets and doing missions with the Mako. The only advantages ME2 and ME3 have are the graphics which are definitely a step up but that was also made during a time when graphical advances were happening pretty quickly.

​@@disturbedrockthere is literally one choice of galaxy-scale consequences in ME2(with resolution being on ME3). It's as fillery as the middle part of trilogy gets.

@@majinvegitto4238ME1 has a better overarching story but the character writing is much less interesting than in either 2 or 3, and frankly character writing is the thing I come to BioWare games for. Also the Mako was by far the worst thing about 1. Some of the blandest side content I’ve ever seen in an RPG.

because of gameplay, story or graphics? i would watch and listen josh playing dragon age Inquisiton, he could make this mess enjoyable.

It's one of the best ME games. if you play with the diologue volume down and no subtitles. 😆

gameplay and looks are fine. but thats not why i play bioware games. thats why i dont play bioware games anymore. that dragon age trailer...

The combat and skill tree was garbage, no point in cover or in picking a class the story was one of the worst I’ve ever had to endure, same for the companions (still better than inquisitions companions)

And I think this because in ME he repeatedly ignored side quests and talking to companions between missions because " I only do what I think thorny shep would do" and literally 90% of this game is side quests and talking with companions. Feel free to keep being a moron though 😂

For real, he just ignores codexes and side quests. I have a feeling he’s just going to skip loyalty missions.
