My problem is more of the odor, not really stain. In that case, what steps should I take? I heard that using ammonia based product will cause dogs to mark more. I want to deter my dog from marking again on the same spots…
Underrated content! Could you please teach us how to remove sweat stains from headphones? It would help us a lot, as the only thing we know to do is to buy a new pair of ear cups. Thankssssss!!!!!!
I did this with my own blood and it was like 1 drop of blood and a mils of hydrogen peroxide and it kinda exploded, like violently exploded into the gas, does my blood have some kinda super power?
I'm really looking forward to trying your methods! I have a 400.00 wool rug that got screwed up because of my negligence in not acting quickly enough to remove stains. Nothing worked after trying everything except your method. Stay tuned...
Mixing hydrogen peroxide and ammonia can be very dangerous and is strongly discouraged. When combined, they form peracetic acid, which is highly toxic and can release harmful fumes. The reaction can be unpredictable and can cause respiratory issues, skin irritation, and other serious health problems. If you need to use these chemicals, it's crucial to handle them separately and according to safety guidelines. Always ensure proper ventilation, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow any instructions provided by the manufacturer.
Hi. My daughter ironed a new denim jacket on my cream rug, and now there is an orange size blue mark from the dye of jacket. Do you think this would work? @thestainguide
Hey Jimmy, I’m keen to try this as one of my cats coughs up hairballs regularly, and the other one pees on the carpet occasionally when stressed, so we have a few stains. I have 6% hydrogen peroxide and ammonia - do I need to dilute either of them in a spray bottle?
Can you use hydrogen peroxide to neutralize chlorine bleach on shirt. Rather, lets say a few drips splash on a black shirt, will it stop it from eating a hole in the shirt? Obviously it wont bring the color back... And if so, could you do a video explaining the chemistry? I saw where answered a comment on the importance of adding ammonia from a chemistry perspective. Fascinating stuff! Keep up the good vids. Im about to check out yhe spot removal one 👍
Is the ammonia really okay to use on cat urine? Every other cat urine removal guide specifically warns against using ammonia because it will encourage cats to use the same spot again.
This works on clothes too! I tried it on 2 day old curry stains and it came right out. I used 6% hydrogen peroxide and left them in the sun for a couple of hours. Thank you!
I paid 120€ to a company earlier and they couldn’t remove a vomit stain. I then picked up the two chemicals in this vid for 8€ and it’s nearly completely gone after an hour. This man is a hero
This was a helpful video, I just cleaned some large blood stains out of some carpet but didn't do a good enough job. So, I'll re-attempt using the tips I learned in this video. (My brother cut his leg on some junk in the garage. He's fine but needed stitches.)
You totally rock! The only thing that I did differently was to dab/wipe the fresh blood with a dry rag instead of a spoon. The whole thing worked perfectly! Thank you 👍🏾😊
After watching this video, I used some 3% hydrogen peroxide over a coffee stain on white speckled carpeting. The stain came out, but it also lightened the speckles and the difference is noticeable. So the moral to the story is don't believe everything you see on the internet.
I've been using hydrogen peroxide for a while now for a ton of cleaning things...my question is...what does the ammonia do? I do not use ammonia in my home...would the stain still come out without the ammonia???
Hey! Thanks for this amazing and infomative video! I have a blended dark and light grey full carpet, and I'm a bit concerned if the colour is going to be affected, do you think that it will be fine and it won''t be bleached or the color won't be changed? Also I ordered a UV light from Amazon that will arrive in 2 days. I've been rubbing the stained area with multiple products, should I keep doing that or something else before I get the UV light and can do the experiment? Thanks again! I hope your method saves me!!
I am a cleaner and this is spot on. I use my orbiter with microfiber bonnet with the 20 weight peroxide with ammonia. Way cheaper and works fantastic. With the orbiter it disappears instantly. His method will definitively work for the homeowner. Great video!!!
Hi, Very good!! Might I please have an email contact for you? I have a carpet situation I need to share and pics to illustrate the issue. Hoping for advise!!
I tried your method on dried blood and it worked! But now I got moist styptic powder on my white shirt and it's very stubborn. Do you know what I can do to get rid of it? Thank you in advance
For my fellow skeptics.... IT WORKS!!! Legit if you're as skeptical as me when you see things online that supposedly work this man knows his stuff... I had a stain in my living room carpet for about a year tried several times and different products trynna get rid of it nothing really worked it just made the stain lighter but was still there very easy to notice, was about to call professional carpet cleaners to do it or get a new rug since I thought it was permanently stained and decided I'd look on RU-vid (don't know why I didn't do this so much sooner 🤦🏾🥲) and it got the stain gone like it was never even there... Materials costed me no more than maybe 30 - 40 bucks and I probably could've spent less I just grabbed the bigger sizes of the chemicals and things mentioned... I'll say one thing if the the stains light using a vacuum won't really help but using that chemical and heat trick worked to perfection, I'm sure the vacuum works for like newer or darker stains but being as I tried multiple times to get it out it was just a light but very visible stain that is now COMPLETELY GONE This man's doing the lord's work 🥹 I thank you kind sir 🙇🏿♂🙏🏾
This is amazing!! I had a spot that I tried everything on. I was about to just try and patch the carpet. I did one more search to try find something that worked. So glad I found this. Just absolutely amazing!
This worked 100% on a 2 day old tumeric stain from spilt soup. Thanyou,I am over the moon with the result. Ps: It took about 30 minutes all up with a 40watt lamp I use to cure my nail polish and 3% hydrogen peroxide.🎉
