It’s only visual. No impact on driving since it’s precalculated physics

And gt has more realistic shadows from the clouds

Have any of you ever actually driven a GT car? No? Didn’t think so. So how would you know if AC feels more real than GT7? Driving at highway speeds in either game feels very realistic. Especially with a wheel setup. Driving at 115+mph on average around a track isn’t something I do often so I have no idea how y’all know it’s more realistic in one game or the other, but hey, you’re the experts.

i noticed that too in mugello with f4 cars i accidentally went into grass and gained like 0,5. u can just go full throttle even coming back to track is easy

Gran turismo’s graphics are perfect. Idk how they do it, but even with a ridiculous amount of mods assetto corsa will never get to that level.

In iRacing, the grass isn't making you faster: it's a strategy people use to keep their tires cool. In fact, IRL drivers were using this at, Spa I believe IRL.
