Can Gran Turismo Really Simulate GT3 Cars? 

I think the recent time trail that was based on the real time was a good example too the fastest time was only like a second or two faster than the real life time and thats obviously because they just didn't push that hard in real life also possible shift braking too which would destroy a transmission in real life but still very accurate indeed

I play acc and gt7. And as much as i love gt games, acc is on a whole new level. In gt7, the car feels like it's on rails and you can instantly feel how much more complex acc handling is. It's hard to describe, but you feel it right away. But people shouldn't compare acc to gt7 (in terms of driving), they are built for different audiences and i think it would be stupid to compare, since gt7 doesn't even have absolute driving realism as a goal. However, what i really can't stand is people braging about the "insane unimaginable attention to detail" of gt7. There are many small details that they left out, at least on gt3 cars. For example the r8 lms evo2 is not a full evo2, as the real life evo2 has another interior and a new rainlight on the back. Pd went for the lazy way of making us convert to evo2 spec, which is nice, but they could have given a full conversion, not just wings and diffuser.

I wanted to better match lighting but unfortunately GT7 doesn't let you select exact time of day for time trials. That means I'd need to do a custom race and have a warm up lap every time I wanted to make an attempt just to get the time of day a bit closer (early/late afternoon). That was just too painful for me to attempt haha!

Luckily VR it is closer! FOV is maybe a little tighter than wearing a helmet but not too far off!

I agree and plan to make a video about it! I believe all cars are setup that way to be easier for controller players. Every GR.3 car has heavy understeer under aero load. Should at least give an “aggressive” and “standard” tune option. Or 3.

What wheel and settings are you using. Mine feels alive in all cars. I especially love stock cars on comfort tyres
