I joined you all late to the party as it were just this morning, it was really good to link in and feel the walls dissolve and the miles melt away and join you all in the grove in Glastonbury.😊 But then, just as we were grounding and getting peaceful, the onslaught began! I live in a beautiful part of Gwynedd which is much blessed by it's many charms, but also cursed by being the chosen training area for warplanes, from small ones with propellers on right up to the 80 million pound plus F35 bombers. So far 12 of these monsterous vehicles of death and destruction have passed directly over my house in a deafening procession of shock and awe; they crush the soul, I can't imagine being on the receiving end of them as so many are in so many places around the world at the moment. The upshot is that I missed most of what you said Philip, but I hold true to my heart and join you all in standing for Peace! Blessings to you all. /I\💚
Great talk. i bought my first pair of Vevo barefoot eons ago after hearing Dr Chatterjee talk about them and haven't gone back to mainstream shoes .. so lovely to be totally grounded when out on my hikes. I just wish they didn't always have to be mail order and that more shops stocked them. Sorry get off my soap box now! ps I know there is a shop in London, but i don't get up to the city
When I close my eyes during meditation, I see white energy, waving, dancing, and then light purple energy in the form of balloons, circles, a very relaxing meditation.
Interesting, I grew up going bare foot, and never wear shoes unless I have to, I have been wearing barefoot shoes for about 4 years now! I love them. In the late 60's and early 70's my husband (now passed on) made soft leather shoes, the soles were leather as well, that was all we wore, I could never wear high heel shoes. This was a wonderful conversation. Loved the meditation, I have practiced Taoism for about 30 years, over the years I have combined Druidry with Taoism.
Wonderful talk thanku Galahad & Phillip. I love my vevobarefoot boots, they help that reawakening of our birthright connection to the earth. I spend 8 days in Earthsong camp in Tipparery this summer being barefoot & it was such healing medicine. I have always loved fairytales of shoemakers & magical shoes, thanku Galehad for reminding us of how to make magical shoes. Bless u both & thanku for this richness of conversation & blessed earth connection. ❤
First business I ever visited as a child was a cobblers shop . It was only two blocks away. Never forgot the experience or realness of the Cobbler. Thanks ..will relisten.
Nice idea. Working with potters and potteries, we were always told that was the first craft of humanity. But from what you explain it was shoemakers. I like that idea. 😀
Thank you Philip and Manda. This was a powerful and inspiring discussion and I find I'm hungry for more. I've already lined up the podcast and downloaded Any Human Power on my Kindle. I felt a since of hope and empowerment about what's possible and how I'm connected to the web of life. Brialliant!
Hello, am re-listening as this seems so important. I feel, bien-etre/etre bien for the key term/that I got from the fire. Starting point. Yes just small things-make planting a priority. If seeds and plants can be shared. A governance for the future must put bien etre as the centre./well being and being well and good with all-all life :)
Philip the poem by R. J. Stewart was beautiful. Can you tell us where it might be found. I was not able to Google it and there are so many books written by him. Thank you.
This seems like such a ridiculous question, but where does someone start who is perhaps unable to afford the fees associated with the obod courses? I’m drawn to this path.. rather I’ve been herded down this path since childhood.. but I’m also a struggling single mum who is working to support a teenage daughter alone. I know this is my path and I’m not looking for anything easy or a handout. Just wondering where to begin. 🙏 Thanks and blessings
Penny Billingtons book the path of druidry is a lot cheaper than the course it is full of great ideas of how to deepen your connection and understand druidry. Perhaps you could be gifted it for a birthday.
such a beautiful meditation, Ive been away so catching up, the moss covered me in this warm fuzzyness- healing entered into my stomach and I saw green man smiling at me- much more grounded now and feel strong like the tree :) Colour is a nice deep greeen. :)
I thought the grail was the body of Mary?! Containing the blood of Christ? It makes infinitely more sense. Chasing a lost cup around seems so 'Monty Python'.
Thanks Philip, going to celebrate Lughnasdh this Saturday August 3rd with my circle. Will use some of these concepts so the teaching goes on from Nuinn to you to me to them, blessed be!
I saved this episode and a few kthers into savedlater go to ciew all of them in a binge and realized i already saw all except the two most recent. All discussions about animals are entirely helpful to me. Thanks Phillip
