I'm having nozzle grabbing issues with the Crazy Jet 150mm and 50 deg. Maple Leaf 2021 Autobot Bucking. I'm wondering if I did something wrong or bought a wrong component?
Hi man! Great video! Don't know if you still active and reading this but i'm looking into sorbo pads and they have different Duro options. What do you use? I have currently a M190 spring in my SSG24 but might switch to a M170. Thank you!
I'm using Modify Mod24 Gspec (basically SSG24 without branding) without supressor, she's louder (I think), but very short crisper sound is more suspectible to go unnoticed! Secondary is very loud AAP01, great job at scaring enemies!
You're measuring dBA at the wrong place... the gun itself will be the same loudness. It's the sound at the tip of the barrel that changes. The actual pop the gun makes up front. Coupled with a silencer it's tremendously quieter with an air brake.
How did are you achieve 500fps on 2.2 Joules on your previous was something about 435fps after you adjust hop-up. To be honest I looking now to get one but thinking about M160 2.8 joules. Can you help me with suggestions for 🇬🇧
I had m180 spring and 2,7J because of short barrel, then i put rapax 4+ RMS and achived 3, 7J, then i put nov. wieghted piston with med pin, joules dropped to 3 J then i put RMS rings both of them and now its 3,4 J on 0.48g bb's (field limit 3,5 J)
Might be worth ordering a lower power spring and the fps adjuster rings just in case! I’ve noticed different sites’ chronos are calibrated differently, so you may be legal at one site but not at another! I’ve had to change mine on site a few times
May not get a answer but my hop wheel on my STTI moves very little. Like this much | | That isnt much and its kinda incosistent with the range and accuarcy but what do you expect with a clone and stock at that.
The srs is definitely a more solid platform, but from what I’ve heard you need to change the spring and hop out of the box where the ssg10 just needs a clean then it’s ready to go. If you’re not sure if sniping is for you, go with the ssg10 if you’ve tried it, loved it and want to build something, buy the srs.
@@lookingcoolisnottheintenti1834 Would you say the max range and accuracy is much different between the SSG10 and SRS? Both without upgrades and if fully upgraded?
I did notice that it brought the fps down consistently so it could work! However, I’ve heard some people have had issues with the pins firing out of the rifle, this may have been fixed now. Just beware.
Amazing contribution to us mk23 enthusiasts, even I with my two left hands managed to follow this guide step by step and get this done right. I had to drill my outer barrel because I bought a 150mm inner barrel and it wouldn't fit through all the way, apart from that - everything went smoothly. Thank you!
Great video! I am currently working on making mine a bit quieter too. I don't really want to mess with sorbo pads or air breaks, because I have my ssg shooting the perfect fps that I want it at right now. If it ain't broke don't fix it! I am going to do some of the other things you showed though. I'll probably make a video of all the mods I do too at some point. Thanks for the great video!
For anyone attempting this with a clone MK23 (ASG and STTI), you will likely have a couple of issues when it comes to disassembly. Firstly, pushing the safety through in order to release the slide is massively stiff and will need a good few whacks to push it through, you’ll have no hope just using your fingers. Secondly, the outer barrel isn’t held on with a screw as it is with the TM MK23 as shown at 4:01. it will likely be held in place with a pin that, again, needs to be whacked out from right to left (when looking at the assembly from the same direction you’d aim). I had to spend ten minutes constantly whacking it with a hammer and a thin-pointed file and was convinced it wasn’t going to budge but eventually it did. Once this is out, the outer barrel will be very hard to pull off, so I wrapped the hop unit and the outer barrel separately with masking tape in order to get some grip on each and pulled, pulled, pulled until they came apart. All in all it’s a horrible job!
I love my SSG24. Now i buing me the Novritsch modular supressor and the last years i play without. For me the sound difference is surprisingly good. And i thing, now the enemies don't find me, when the first shot going wrong and i have another chance to hit him.😁
Do you have to leave the hop wheel in, or can you just put the arm on top with the in plate underneath and seal it up? I modded mine, and got it back together, and it shoots, but I wondered if removing the hop wheel entirely might let the hop arm sit a bit more flat on top of the bucking? (The hop wheel seems to pull it down a little squint from one side, if you know what I mean?)
@@lookingcoolisnottheintenti1834 Great thanks a lot for a detailed video, was my first time opening the gun and really helped me. I'll try removing the hop wheel and see what happens!
Depends which base pistol you go for and which upgrades. Different barrels are different prices and the TM variant is considerably more expensive than the ASG
It really depends on your preference. But I would suggest looking for a 3-9 x 50mm You will get plenty of eye relief and you don’t need any more zoom than that. Mine is normally set to 3x for games. Budget wise look at between £50 and £100 anything less than that won’t be worth your time
