Hey @CaseyPutsch, nice vid. I've noticed you're keeping your left foot's heel on the floor. I've noticed that most of racers/rally drivers do the same, where me and most of the ppl I know keep heel off the floor. Can you make a vid about that. Sry if it sounds silly, but imo its critical to better clutch control. Regards, M.
I have a 2016 Z06. I watch my fuel gauge and sometimes my boost gauge for fun. Nothing else though, I really can't see my analog speedometer without changing my head position. Thanks for the video!
I've ridden bikes my whole life, from dirt bikes as a kid to sport bikes, adventure bikes and cruisers into adulthood. I dumped one about 12 years ago and got beat up and burned bad so I kind of took a break that ended up being a lot longer than I anticipated. I just bought a Harley a few weeks ago and in that time span three friends of mine have crashed due to other drivers and one was killed. I miss riding so much and I am gonna keep this one, but I would be lying if I said I'm not nervous as shit to get on it some days. But, we must live life and Motorcycles give me happiness, so ride on friends.
Interesting project - Gotta say that my understanding was that the original 'Top Gun Bike' was actually a GPZ750R because Tom Cruise was too short for the 900 - That's why they took all the decals off - The colour scheme on the movie bike certainly looks more similar to the 750 plus rumour has it that the shop that actually sold the bike to the studio even documented the bike as a 750 on the sales invoice.
