Immigration being a positive thing is a lie that just doesn't make any sense when put to the test. 1)It is bad for the environment to have people move somewhere that requires high energy to heat homes and moderate climates are better suited for population growth and refugees. 2)pension programs are paid into by people through out their work life and people contribute to the economy as nature born citizens. The gov spends it and then says we need more immigrants to make up for money they should have set aside. Also immigrants age too so the problem compounds. 3)Family reunification is a heart string scam and if you move to the other side of the world and complain your family isnt their you are an unreasonable person and a poor choice for an immigrant 4)Numbers of skilled workers is dwarfed by the number of unskilled let in. So to let in one doctor for 30,000 people who need 5,000 new doctors the math isn't there. 5)More people means greater stress on social program, infrastructure and pension systems. 6)The more diversity means the more enclaves of segregation. This is resulting in the balkanization of nations. Eventually we will see nations divide up into smaller nations. Diversity is best respected by nationalism , the world is big enough for everyone to have their own place, not to start carving up those places anyways. 7)Foreigners brings their wars and conflicts into their host countries(ie Palestinians and Khalistanis etc 8)Natural born citizens have been conditioned through education and culture to abide by the laws and respect and tolerate. Often other cultures don't even realize it is wrong to harass women or drive through stop signs. 9)Most skilled work can be done by work visa. An engineer can do a project and return back to their home country after the job is done as an example 10) Immigration is an inflationary element of the economy. It contributes to the fact that people in their retirement who thought saving half a million dollars was going to cut it are now realizing their savings are worth much less due to immigration. So to say we need it to make sure aging population is taken care of is a lie.

It would be a great error to limit office holders to Canadian born citizens. That us not the problem. The political party system has nothing to do with democracy and is destroying our system of governance. They will put forward candidates that will hopefully win elections, not those with the best qualifications to be part of the government.
I can’t understand why we would agree to bringing this amount of people into PEI. Our social services can’t handle this amount. We don’t have enough medical doctors or the health care to take care of all. I believe this will end up tragic for all.
In reality there is no problem with international students. The place was like this 20yrs back too there fore I left. For greener pastures and returned back after retiring from there....only thing is that we were conned all the time
Every where here there is wage thefts!!! What do u think abt graduates working labour jobs? Is it not job theft! Making them work on jobs not related to their qualifications. Wht do u think of these skill thefts ???
Too wordy. You could have said this in 2 minutes. You kept repeating yourself and very little content. What we want to know is when are they sending these striking students back to India? They cannot be allowed to stay just because they’re protesting and going on hunger strikes. They were never promised PR so they don’t have a leg to stand on. Go back. Please advise us on the status of these aggressive, mainly Punjabi kids.
Need to control immigration from punjab, gujrat specifically and overall from India on the whole. It should be orderly and people need to have ability to assimilate into the country ( speak English, adopt Canadian customs, not bring sectarian politics from countrybof origin etc) . Most of them are very good people but a few bad ones are having the media limelight both in Canada and in India unfortunately. Besides this when ever there is negative press the vocal minority in Canada who are clanish and racist are the vocal ones, this is a heady mix. Sane people should speak and be heard more from all sides.
very very serious problem. our children can not find entry level jobs. Intl students are every where and fraud of LMIA and PNP fraud creating paper jobs. Tory party is not taking clear stand. JT and Jag have destroyed Canada.
Excellent video Darshan bhai. You made a very important reference to all these protesters being Punjabi Sikhs. It’s a deliberate attempt to bring in Punjabi Sikhs.
Being of Indian origin myself I came here when Harper was PM. The economy was much better then. We made it through the 2008 recession, housing was affordable and mortgage rates stable. Just shows how incompetent Trudeau is.
People need to create their own jobs and trade with each other. I pray that people do not flock to UBI. That's when the gov. will really put their foot down and go in full mode. Guess who would be in charge ? Not us !
Darshan always appreciate you asking the questions that no one else is asking. You are correct. If the All New Person entries into Canada (International Students, Temp. Foreign Workers, etc) is out pacing the number of jobs being created or available. Then what it will happen is force wages down with a great supply of works and create a greater dependence on government subsidies. Another potential by product is broader poverty and higher taxes to help pay for the government subsidies as well.
@@DarshanMaharaja Your are correct. This is a multi faceted issue that has a spill over effect in other areas of life as well. Increase in crime such as human trafficking, car theft, gun violence, money laundering etc. Along with social cohesion challenges and the development of balkanization. We are already seeing these issues brimming to the surface already.
This was a fabulous interview with great questions being asked and equally great and honest responses from Maxime Bernier. I have read through the People’s Party of Canada’s entire platform and I find them very reasonable and well thought out. PPC certainly deserves to be a legitimate political party that can provide an alternative political solution to Canada’s unique challenges. I encourage everyone to read their platform with an open mind and decide for themselves.

Hi @DarshanMaharaja we must also understand that correlation is not causation, or one can say that mass immigration in not the only cause. Although economists seem to shy away from the term as big tech dominates market indices, we are actually in a recession. When I arrived in Canada for work it was 2022 and although the Ukraine war had just started (and bumped up fuel prices), there were "help wanted" signs everywhere. Businesses were starting up and needed labour. However, inflation was also on the rise, and corporate greed coupled with rate hikes from central banks only made things worse(the central bank action and its effects were sort of expected). Today, if you look at downtown or central Toronto, you will see small businesses struggling and many have shut down. There have been job cuts in IT, banking and in retail. I have even seen cutbacks in sectors like private childcare with employees being let go. Another example I noticed was that there was an article that stated that the city of Toronto needs more property managers for the ever growing number of condo units. However, I know of some property management companies that have laid off property managers too to cut costs. They have not been replaced by immigrants, they are just making do with fewer people, causing some concern for residents. As the housing market collapses, housing debt increases and condo building in the cities slows, expect deeper and more painful job cuts in banking, realty, and construction. Yes immigration is a problem. However, there are broader factors at play here which perhaps Statcan may not be able to capture.

You are absolutely wrong. Canadians accept, they're against massive immigration. It's upsetting the dynamics of Canada at every angle. Healthcare, rising crime rates, housing, etc.
I’m a Canadian citizen of Indian origin and even I’m against immigration from Punjab which has high crime, drugs and militancy. Not to mention a bad attitude and self-entitled behaviour that they somehow deserve to be in Canada without skills or English competency. As most immigration consultants and real estate agents are now from Punjab, they’re biased towards their own people which isn’t fair and it gives us all Indians a bad name.
@@Jancan20 it varies, but can go up to $40K or $50K. I have heard as high as $100K for agricultural jobs because the language requirement is pretty lenient.
The "skilled" labour is also a lie Darshan. We get endless Indian developers, they are not "skilled", they are deeply average. These entry level tech jobs could go to young Canadians. You know why companies do it? The process to get PR takes years (by design) when you apply inside the country, you are stuck on a closed Visa for years. During that time you can't leave, you can't ask for a raise etc. I know it's hard to believe, but the *entirety* of Canada has been set up as a fake front, it is a scam.
The liberals and their corporate friends don't want any old person who needs a job. They want people who are desperate for a job, and will do *anything* to keep it. They want them one month from homelessness at all times, cradle to grave.
They did the same to whites the first 200 yrs Im acadian and Irish and our first names had to be English to be accepted in schools. We lost both our cultures just like natives did.

His english is good. It takes awhile to adjust to the Indian accent in general, but I can understand him clearly. You can turn on Closed Captioning to help you understand if you need it.
One of my Indian friends explained to me that they learn British english. They have their own Indian accent combined with the British one. That is why they speak english differently, like "wolume" instead of volume.
Poilievre HAS to tackle this issue, otherwise things will get so much worse and he'll get blamed for it. Might even end up losing a second term! More and more Canadians are waking up, and even more will do so once it starts hitting them in the pocketbook.

Hi darshan can you make video on following .1 indeed and other online recruiting companies jobs are listed but no one get is it for LMIA or fake company jobs. 2 2014 population was around 32 million and now around 42 million. Assume 500 000 students and work permit still there's around 6 million gap are those from Ukraine Mexico and Europe visitors visa which never went back and according to numbers there are more than 7 million non residents. 3 why there are mostly students working in tims is it tims appy LMIAs and sell showing we need workers thats why we are hiring part timers.4 where is labor shortage i know many skilled workers who are doing because there are very limited skilled job or company only wants LMIAs so that they can make $50 000 from LMIAs and pay less

@@Njeujbhthjgfujgf thank you for the suggestion. I will try to make a video on these points soon. The number of ‘temporary residents’ (which includes international students and foreign workers) is 2.8 million. The number of permanent residents in the last 10 years would be around 4-5 million. So we are left with the remaining 2-3 million to account for. I have spoken many times about the fraud in LMIA, jobs are being sold to foreign nationals instead of being available to Canadians.
This is just the Sunset Provision of the Bank Act. It originally was set to sunset in 2023, but it was delayed to 2025 by Chrystia Freeland and the Liberal government. The end date is an end date for the Bank Act itself, and does not mean the all banks will be shut down.

I like Max's political party's stance on mass immigration very much. Its a very common sense view which Canada is lacking tremendously. I would like to knkw his views on the carbon tax, the UN and the WEF. Also 15 minjte cities. Hoping I will find them on his social media.
