Uncontrolled intake of international students & Temporary Foreign Workers, combined with pandering by politicians, has created intense antipathy towards the Indo-Canadian community, which also bears its share of the blame for misusing policies for personal gain.

I'm not sure this is true. Those that came here through the normal immigration process through the years have been welcomed. In fact, one of my dearest friends of 40 years is from Sri Lanka and had to flee. This fiasco caused by Trudeau bringing thousands of "students" who received diplomas for fraud courses by the schools, taking Canadian jobs for a path to citizenship, criminals that came in via this method. There is no affordable housing for those born here, not all those living in tents are drug addicts. My City, as well as others, jumped on the DEI bandwagon and are hiring immigrants, all nationalities, for jobs in Walmart, grocery stores, Amazon, Uber Drivers displacing young Canadian boys and men. We cannot afford food, there is more and more shortages in that area but we are expected to house and feed "asylum seekers" through our higher and higher taxes. Unless you are aware of all the plans of the WEF, it is called "The Great Replacement". Immigration in Canada is a racket
@brucewyn-sp5eb
@brucewyn-sp5eb 2 месяца назад
There are too many, but it is the government’s fault. In the last couple of years Canada accepted 500k student immigrants, about 250k were from India. The other 250k were from different countries. The Canadian government has made no effort to assimilate them, so they act as if they are in India, which stokes resentment from locals. In addition, they practice discriminatory hiring practices - hiring only Indians, when you confront them about it, they say you’re being racist but when in fact they are the ones being racist by hiring only Indians. Stoking more resentment. A lot of their student visas are set to expire, but the Canadian has given them an extension which in turn will give them more points to get their PR cards. Prolonging the current housing shortage. I believe everyone deserves a fair opportunity, but the Canadian government has given preference to a country that is clearly undermining it to a point where they are carrying out assassinations on Canadian soil. The assassins came here on student visas. The current Canadian government is ruining the cultural fabric of this country. Stephen Harper was a great prime minister after all.

@@vaibhavkale5502 Exactly. The Indians who go to the US or even the EU are generally well skilled professionals, fluent in English and on top the ones that go to the EU often pick up the local language of their new country. International students have been flocking to a loophole-to-immigration. Utilizing schooling as a backdoor ticket to Canada. Swarming a system that was NOT designed to be about EVERY student wanting PR. Now all Canadians have clued in that Canada's post secondary education system has (in 4 years time) turned into EDUGRATION. Something that the PUBLIC schools were NOT created for. Plus edugration (public or private) was NEVER approved by everyday Canadians. Plus what about Ghost Consulting that Canada told India to halt? Canadians want the $ greedy agents in other countries to stop MARKETING & LYING to their own people about access to PR or citizenship … or accommodation/jobs … in places like Canada being relatively easy (to get). And for any people living in western countries to be ashamed of themselves if they're getting greedy too. Anyone doing things to make $ off of people's PR desires. Are all international students truly Scholars … or are most Economic Migrants (who BORROWED $ to buy their way to the head of the immigration line)? To say all the students or their consultants back home have not been at times 'gaming' Canada's education programs to gain western PR or $ is ridiculous. Students have attributed to Canada's housing crisis because 97% came-to-stay not just visit. This NEVER existed 5 yrs ago. What about IELTS spouses? Anchor babies? Fraud? False asylum claims? What about Canadian food banks & charity services being recklessly advertised on YT in Indian languages? What about Canadian housing being scooped up en-mass as investment vehicles by or for internationals? What about home rental/boarding signs stating "vegetarians only can apply"? What about Indian nationals buying local businesses then putting Indians only in key positions while also drastically changing work practices that include secretly pocketing cash & the caste system? Canadians are worried about this because more & more are experiencing it firsthand. Then throw in all the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortions across Canada. Diasporas stirring up tribal hatreds (in Canada) … even though it all stems from their ancestral home. How can peace be found anywhere with this in play? Plus the Canadian government recently launched investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections. All stemming from Asia continent. Canadians are so so so not used to all this. So many, who have embraced multi-culturalism and immigration for decades are now VERY worried and fearful. All are praying it doesn't turn into great anger. Canadians want multi-culturism to succeed … and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Everyone I know is VERY happy with IRCC's recent changes (reductions & multifaceted investigations etc.). Including multi-generational long-term Asian-Canadians where many have been the MOST upset (by all of this). PS Canadians are aware that some great students are going through hell. And know Canada is partially to blame which hurts Canadian hearts. But bottom-line, Canada decides what needs to be done in Canada. Do you see Canadians protesting in other countries (that is not their own) making demands for themselves? No. Do Canadians now see primarily South Asians protesting in Canada, making demands (due to IRCC pumping it's immigration brakes because it REALLY HAS TO)? Yes. If 36,000,000 Canadians travelled to India, since 2020, with the primary goal of being able to stay there permanently, that would raise India's population by 2.65%. Recent migrators (after PR) … especially the students... have raised Canada's population 2.65%. Changes (& opinions) are occurring in 2024, for HUGE reasons

No it doesn’t make sense to me. It appears the Sikh people have moved to a Christian country to establish their Sikh religion instead of fighting and promoting their religion in their own country. Using excuse of multiculturalism to justify their move. The native community of roughly 500,000 people 535 years ago are under the impression that they are entitled to own %10 of the earths livable surface. When in fact the significant majority of the northern part of North American was uninhabited. European explorers brought technology such as the wheel, and woven textiles. Colonialism brought the type of country you see today. White Christian people made this country that’s why you came here. Now the Sikh people want to change the country that they were attracted to. Claiming multiculturalism a very weak reason. I don’t recall hearing of Sikh people fighting for Canada in WW1 or 2 I don’t see Sikh people enlisting in the Canadian military and I am comfortable in saying that if we went to war that The Sikh people would not fight for Canada. That’s why I don’t understand. I could go on and on but no point. Let me ask you this question -are Sikh people racist. -would accept a Pakistani into India promoting their views and ideals like Sikh people do in Canada -would you vote for a Pakistani in an India election. I lived in Bahrain I know your answer Canada is a great country don’t try to change the country that attracted you to come here in the first place.

Right across the street from me there is a car was owned by an East Indian fellow that I talk to often. Nice guy been here 25yrs. He has 8 recent immigrants working there, cleaning inside cars and such. I asked Raj why, if working at a car wash is all they can do, why would they leave India? He told they do better cleaning cars here than anything they do back home. A couple of the men are in their 60's. I feel sorry for them. Tough way for a 60yr old to make a buck but I respect that greatly. If we get our immigration back to normal after Trudeau I think the anti you talk about will disappear.

He's not making money cleaning cars. He's selling jobs to Indians who need them to get into the country. Same goes for McDonalds, Tim's and all the others. The Franchise owners get paid big bucks to help these people scam their way in. Those 60 year olds are just here to set up shop to bring in the rest of the family. They'll be doing a pity party in front of the media soon enough. Watch closely, you'll likely see a steady cycle of "employees" moving through the place.

Every immigrant has come to this country legally and is following rules laid down by the federal and provincial governments. The Canadian citizens should be questioning the government as to why they allowed so much immigration and still taking refugees in huge numbers without creating the necessary infrastructure and creating affordability issues

Because I really want to have a healthy debate with that guy. If you don't know about him just check his channel, he is literally spreading hate towards Indians. I understand the concerns you stated in this video and can relate to the feelings that Canadians might have with regards to this. However, there are many different viewpoints and scenarios we must look into before coming to a conclusion. There are many international students like me who have come to Canada on the sole purpose of gaining exposure and going back to our respective countries after completing the course. On the other hand, there are students who come here with the idea of settling down. On one hand, the government states that it requires more people to join the Canadian society. On the other hand, they are concerned with the imbalance in the country due to lack of housing for so many international students and immigrants along with the necessary number of jobs for both Canadians as well as the immigrants. In this case, it is clear that certain institutions like travel and educational consultancies, educational institutions, and some politicians are taking advantage of loopholes in the system. Education consultancies make a commission from every student they send to Canada and hence, find various ways to promote education here (many false promises are made). Educational institutions profit from international students and hence, promote their courses rigorously in as many marketing channels as possible. Some of the politicians use this as an opportunity to increase their future vote bank and hence, provide enough space for universities and consultancies to function. Every country has its own advantages and disadvantages. That is one thing I feel, is important for everyone to understand. Segregating countries as either developed or developing does not make complete sense. While the U.S. is generally marketed as the torchbearer of the world in terms of development and freedom, it has many clear and noticeable flaws like gang violence, gun violence, and a relatively high level of drug usage. If the country was really developed, these issues could have been dealt with and resolved. Marketing a country as developed while it still has many issues to deal with, only adds to the responsibilities those countries have to bear. Best example is the mass illegal immigration of people entering the U.S. and the growing resentment among U.S. citizens who feel like their issues are yet to be resolved while the government is giving various benefits to the illegal immigrants. First step Canadians need to take is to proactively find ways to hold education consultancies and universities accountable by questioning them on their methods. Only when they are questioned, the politicians associated with this can be filtered out.

Who set up enclaves like Brampton and Surrey which have been India 2.0 for DECADES? Who started the gangs that were shooting up BC in the 90s and starting to do it again now? Need to control immigration from punjab, gujrat specifically and overall from India on the whole. It should be orderly and people need to have ability to assimilate into the country ( speak English, adopt Canadian customs, not bring sectarian politics from countrybof origin etc) . Most of them are very good people but a few bad ones are having the media limelight both in Canada and in India unfortunately. Besides this when ever there is negative press the vocal minority in Canada who are clanish and racist are the vocal ones, this is a heady mix. Sane people should speak and be heard more from all sides.
