I got one of these on Monday and to be honest I’m not that impressed with it, It looks amazing but the sharp edges and light weight makes it feel less premium than I’d like for a watch at this price point. I do not think the finish is up to par compared to other Tudor watches like the black bay 58. It’s how it feels on the wrist I do not like specifically as compared to my Rolex submariner it feels cheap and scratchy whilst it rattles on the wrist unless worn over tight. Maybe titanium is not for me but overall a disappointment.
Think it’s just what happens over time and the font was definitely too thick to begin with! I’m planning on getting something over it at some point as it looks dreadful now 🙏👍
I worry about the comments. It's like a meeting in a religious sect, people trying to top each others hysterical praises and superlatives regarding this cheap looking watch😑
I agree! I did wear it around a local town centre one day and was sat outside some shops waiting for the wife when a few guys started hanging around and looking a bit menacing. I had the exact thought that you had! 🙈👍
The first few minutes of this are brilliant and quite interesting watches are very addictive when you throw in the online content you have something that many people have agreed with me upon when I say this is like some sort of addiction 😂
I’d say definitely the 35 then as the 40 will be too big. I do think the 35 is a little small though even on my 6” wrist so a 37 would be ideal but obviously they don’t do one 🙈
Thanks for the great video! I have a 6.7 inch wrist circumference. Would you go for the 38mm or the 40mm version? My dial color would be the white version. Greetings from Germany!
Thank you 🙏 it’s a close call but maybe the 40mm would suit slightly better on 6.7! I think the 38 is a better proportioned watch but that’s on my 6” wrist. Thanks
I’d say they hold pretty well. Probably 2 thirds of the retail price I’d guess at (depending on models) the pro 300 goes for around 700 on the second hand market from what I can see 👍
@@ardakarnicaoglu953 it all depends on the watch. If you’re thinking of this tissot they only do 35 and 40 but with other watches there’s all sorts of different measurements that come into play like “lug to lug” etc
Can I ask a silly question, how do you video like this with both hands free? Is it a tripod in front of you or an overhead arm, my partner is the manager of a jewellers and they have used luxury watches like Cartier and Rolex and they want to film watches like this to boost quality of the videos on social media.
Not a silly question at all. I think my social links are in my channel info so you could reach out there if you like and I’ll send you pictures of my set up. There’s a couple of ways I’ve done this. The one in this video is just using an iPhone 15 pro, an elgato light (lighting’s important too) and a little iPad stand that tilts forwards and holds my phone right in front of me. I’ve just bought a Sony camera and an overhead arm though for my upcoming videos but the little iPad stand would do the job just fine. Think it was only £15 on Amazon too 👍
@@Time_and_time_again some pictures would be great to see! So all of your watch reviews are filmed on an iPhone? Really good quality, are using anything to enhance the quality when you upload it or just filming at 4k 30fps?
facebook.com/alan.williams.50309 That’s me on Facebook if you want to drop a message but yes everything so far has been using the iPhone at 4k 30fps. I do have a shure sm7b mic which helps with audio and, like I say, a key light is important too 👍
hi, could you measure the l2l distance of the C60 Trident Pro 300 including the End links? I would like to understand how much the endlinks impact the overall top to bottom length of the watch, since in your original review you didn't mention it and i'm having a really hard time finding this measurement online. I have your exact wrist size (5,9 inches or 15cm) so i can relate to your reviews but to be sure i would like to have this measurement. Thanks and best regards
Hi, I’ve just measured and from tip to tip of the male end links it’s 49.4mm. I wouldn’t let that put you off though as it definitely doesn’t feel or look too big on my wrist! I would 100% recommend you try one on and you will be completely happy with the size. Hope this helps. Cheers
@@Time_and_time_again thank you for the super fast answer. That 49,4l2l looks scary on paper however the watch looked good on your wrist, so it's giving me confidence and hope. However i can't stop thinking that it probably would've looked even better if it had female end links. That 45l2l is a super interesting stat, hopefully some companies will make female end link conversion for the bader bracelet. Thank you so much, I will definitely put this watch on the list of future purchases, it gives me Omega Seamaster vibes (the blue version) for 1.300€ which is a phenomenal price.
@@sanji8142 no problem at all! In this instance I feel like the male end links are a positive (even for a small wrist) because without them the watch would be in danger of looking too small! It’s exactly the same reason that the 36mm sealander wears so well on the bracelet and looks too small on a strap! 👍 ps yes the blue trident gives me omega vibes too
Yes I can imagine it’s perfect for a 6.5” wrist. I also ended up feeling that the 36mm gmt was a little small even on my 6” wrist. The sealander 36 feels perfect though. I’m also getting the 36mm twelve in for a review today so I’ll be interested to see how that wears. Some watches suit the 36mm better than others and the gmt felt small 👍
Good to see you again. I love CW but cannot get past the logo and the trident on the seconds hand. Bought the 36mm GMT and immediately returned it. Such a shame as it was gorgeous otherwise. We watch guys....the littlest things....😔
That’s a shame you feel like that but yes I understand it’s the littlest things that can be bothersome! I can’t say the logo or the trident counter balance bother me in any way but I certainly know what it’s like when something does bother me! 🙏👍
@@HitarouYotukai-ir6gr No problem. Bought the Atoll 300. The bezel play just wasn’t right (seems to be an issue with this model) Sent it back to CW and was told that it was “within tolerance”. It took me 2 days to get through to customer service on the phone. They wouldn’t offer an exchange or full refund. After another week of trying to get a response they finally offered me an “as new” refund. In which I accepted and lost £160. That’s now left me with no confidence in purchasing from them again. It’s a shame as they release some great watches but unfortunately my experience hasn’t been good, especially with QC and customer service. I know others have had the opposite experience.
