Hi and welcome to my first look of the brand new Christopher Ward C63 Sealander Limited edition Oxygen colour. This really is a lovely looking watch and it was my pleasure to have a close look at it in all of its glory! Thanks for watching :)

Great review! Really like your approach, and your shots, really makes me feel like I have the watch right in front me. I am looking and getting the Dune soon before the prices go up! What are your thoughts on the new logo? Some like it, some don’t, but I think its better than using the whole name.

@@Sannspoof I had just always heard fume being used to describe watch dials and ombré for colour graduation in hair. So being a bit of a geek I looked it up….fume means smoked and that is also a term used to described watches with this colour graduation.

It is an injustice they dont make this version in a 42mm.. this would look like a child's watch on my wrist. The finish on this dial is incredible..

Its the other way around! The market is full with 39mm+ watches in all the different price ranges! The 36mm automatic watches are non existent for men for that price range of Christopher Ward. So no, its not a injustice, its a fucking blessing someone made a 36mm datejust for 1000 bucks.

@@w.j.5973 I think it is a smart strategy from CW from consumer segment. It opens the market for the watch for both men and woman. Making a watch 42mm makes the consumer segment way smaller. Also , i personally believe the classy way to wear watch is not more then 39mm and i have a 19cm wrist.

Can anyone tell me what their experience with customer service / aftercare has been? My girlfriend was about to buy me a CW for my birthday but the reviews I’ve seen online & on trustpilot have put me off (although I’ve noticed there aren’t any recent reviews/complaints)

I’ve only ever had a good experience. I’ve returned a few on the 60/60 guarantee over the years and each time had a full refund no issues. I have seen lots of complaints on Facebook though so I know they can be hit and miss sometimes 👍

On guitars that type of colour is called a burst (sunburst etc, so I guess this would be blue burst)
