Hey there. Curious - at what elevation did you take off? I've been trying to find out any solid info on being able to take off over 2000 meters (about 6500ft). A lot of stuff I do is in mountains over 8000 feet, so it would be nice if this could fly higher than 6500 feet if I end up getting it!
I bought my Air 3 in February and it meets my needs very nicely. So I’m not picking up an Air 3S anytime soon. Will I eventually upgrade? Perhaps maybe this time next year? It’s quite possible. I do love the fact that my RC 2 and my Air 3 batteries will work with the new model and I would love to be able to use my iPad with a controller again like I did with my old Mini 2.
@@DadRandom Perhaps. But as i said I only might pick up an Air 3S next year. I do not nor do i have any interest in obtaining a Part 107 so I make no money from my drone. I'm guessing the Mavic 4 will be the next big thing and I can't see any way I'll afford to pick up one unless I hit the lottery and seeing how it's too windy here in Chicago to fly my Mini 2 a majority of days, the Air is my only option and i'm still quite happy with my Air 3 for my droning.
Hi, the video has already given so much value as you linked that iPad mount! I’ve started looking and you linking that has saved a lot of time. Do you use the RC connection cables that appear to come with the mount? If not what do you use to reach your IPad? Is the mount flimsy or a strong product? Thank you again for the help!
Great little flight with Neo - haven’t decided if want to add it to my “arsenal”, but for the price. - why not? Haha. I have enjoyed your videos for several years. It appears to me that you fly out of St George?? Or someplace close. Can you say where this flight is. I have flown out of St George and Cedar City areas.
I flew mine hard into a tree with no effect, so I will pass on the bumpers, however, I would like it to show up better in the sky. I may paint the outer rims with florescent orange or yellow paint.
I think the bumpers increase the weight and the power used to keep the drone in the air. That could explain the extra whining. Looks beautifull over there! We don't have that over here.
Just got mine today. I had 3 cheaper $50 drones that I lost/broke and was devastated. I decided to step my game up and get the Mini 2SE and realized the cheap drones were practice. This thing is AMAZING! Great video✌🏾
Lovely flight as always , lovely location that! Wow that’s incredible you could still hear it over 1000ft away haha! Next video can it fly like an avata 👍
Such a pity it won't work with the RC-N1 controller i use for my Mini 2 and Mini 2SE. Not prepared or can i justify buying the Neo and another controller. Impressed with you're video never the less. 👍
Nice one! I cheaped out and bought the £169 basic drone only...😊 The cost to FPV this is just a bit expensive, if you haven't already got the goggles and fpv controller😮😊
AVATA 2 is 4k 60 and has faster bit transfer. So yes.🙌🏼 I am just amazed the little 200gram bird got out and back to that location. It’s astonishing that it can make it.
@@DadRandom yeah, I forgot about that fact, but even so it seems that the fluidity of the video will randomly get choppy, they're like little hiccups. Like one moment you're getting higher fps, the next moment lower fps. It is impressive range though.
Why would you even need protection for such a small and light cinewoop drone? In case it hits something, not going to cause much damage to it, some even remove the guard on the top to save some weight for more flight time.
So disappointed that dji chose to remove the fpv gimbal mode when using non fpv controller. Seems like they are trying to force users to spend $600 or more to fly a $200 drone fpv. Also the whole thing of making the U.S. wait on release, and now it is appearing a lot of dealers are not going to be able to ship on the release date due to not having them in stock. I ordered one from Canada last week to avoid this possibility.
The did NOT "remove" FPV mode. The only other drones DJI makes with 1 axis gimbals are the FPV, Avata and Avata 2. None of which offer "FPV, OR "FOLLOW" gimbal modes. Like Neo, the others I mentioned offer Rock Steady and Horizon Steady. All DJI needs to do is offer a way to turn those "crop and stabilize" tools in some flight modes. Because it doesnt have a 3 (or 4 with Mini 3 Mini 4/Pro) axis gimbal, there is no "follow" mechanical stabilization. These 1 axis gimbal drones stabilize similar to Osmo Action Cameras, by cropping and stabilizing the image electronically.
