Cute. Question. Newbie here. Im watching videos and talking notes before l dive in because I'm wanting to do Christmas gift baskets. Can l cut your basic from scratch recipe in half to do a1/2 batch to test my skills before diving in and wasting ingredients the first try and all should work? Thank you
I make these bath truffles in all different scents all the time for gifts for my colleagues. They are a big hit. I just use fractionated coconut oil instead of the extract and whatever scent I want. I tend to use unrefined cocoa butter so I try to use scents that go well with the chocolate smell. So easy and they make the best bubbles.
Refrigerating overnight does not work for me. My soap never gelled, and it was way too soft to cut even after 3 days. I’m going to try not refrigerating and see how it works
AND FRAGRANCE ARE ONE OF THE MOST HORMONE DISRUPTOR AND CARCINOGENIC. IT SMELLS GOOD AND IT LOOKS GOOD BECAUSE OF SYNTHETIC FRAGRANCE BUT IT'S BAD FOR HEALTH. THERE'S A SAYING GOES IF YOU CAN'T EAT IT NEVER USE IT.
Hi! You’ve tough me so much in my soaping journey! I have a question. I added my color in with alcohol the other day and it seemed to accelerate trace is that possible? I want to create for texture but I can never seem to get to the right trace. The other day my soap started to solidify before I could finished pouring. It became too thick to pour and I had to scoop it out. Any tips or tricks? Or suggestions? Lol
when pouring the colors in the 3 different spots in the base, do you pour the different colors on top of each other? or do you keep the colors seperate?
Well I tried this and they were too soft though formed but not solid.. I did something wrong 😑 I put them in my fridge and well can’t say they are as nicely shaped as yours .. they are not a total waste but feel like they are too soft ..on some , the tops where the flowers are seperate from rest of the bar / I will set if it’s my scale ? Oh vey 😮
