Oh my gosh this is so cool 🥰 your televised production was the first time I’d ever seen Into the Woods. I was a kid and it came and me and my sister were mesmerized ☺️ it’s a great memory, you all were and are amazing 💕
This is awesome Chuck!!! Ringmaster is kinda my "Guilty Pleasure" dream performing gig!! You are an inspiration!! Always fun to do a gig where you show your true spirit & make people feel good about themselves plus having fun.
You were an incredible Beast. I saw the show 4 times. I also had the pleasure of seeing you perform as Dr. Jekyll. Another excellent performance!! Thank you for your transforming performances and your Madter Class Mondays!!
I was born in 1980 and when I was 7 years old they started showing Automan in Costa Rica, and to this day there are many of us who remember the program, in fact I recently saw all the episodes and I would have loved to have seen more seasons, but I felt the same excitement and I laughed just as much as I did when I was a kid, Automan will forever be a cult show for fans. Today I saw the documentary and it is incredible to know how they worked so hard to make the show. I know it's been many years but thank you for that effort and for being part of our memories.
Just discovered this show here about 2 weeks ago. My absolute favorite series and I wish there were more seasons! Otto Mann, You are an absolute hero! And I'm not talking about the crime fighting 😂 zippers!!!
Something similar to the syringe flying into the audience happened to me in live theater. I was carrying a tray of... oh, what was it? Rice crispy treats? As part of my character. And another character always was chasing me to get at whatever food I was carrying at the time. He grabbed me hard and I must have jerked the tray from the sudden grab. One of the treats went flying across the stage and landed on our director off stage. That's the version that was immortalized on the home video. A bit yummier I think than a syringe full of HJ-7. Probably wouldn't have been good if our director turned into Hyde mid-performance. LOL.
Yikes! How did this musical even get made? It seems very inappropriate for younger audiences. 0_0 But other than that, that's nice that you've played as many great characters in musical theaters. :)
Automan the Sci-Fi superhero series was way ahead of time in 80s era. Besides the protagonist Automan, even a suit,a car and a helicopter can be created out of a computer at random....in reality such fictional technology would put 3D printing to shame.
I watched this show occasionally as a kid, but I found it had too many special effects and the stories in the episodes were too trivial... the same with "Wiz kids". I loved Knight Rider, McGyver and Highway to heaven so much more.
I think it arrived here in Italy in 1984 or 1985, I wasn't in my teens yet and it blew me away. It was dubbed (everything was at the time) and I am sure a few things got lost in translation, but it was absolutely awesome. My interest in computers is due in part to the show. I learned two hours ago that this documentary existed! Thanks, Wikipedia, and thank you, Mr. Wagner, for putting it on. Your character was a childhood hero 🙂 I wish you good luck in your journeys.
i've only seen a few different clips of this song, but the pacing, vocal control, and emotional intonation here is amazing. agh! i only wish i could go back in time and see it. im just grateful to have these kinds of clip as you say, thx to the digital age..
Beauty and the Beast was one of the first musicals I ever saw in Toronto when I was in elementary school. I always loved Belle and the animated movie and my love of the story grew even deeper with the musical. This Friday is our Opening Night of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and I get to play my dream role of Belle 💖 Thank you Mr Wagner and everyone else involved in that production for changing my life
