to the? what does it have to do with it, the important thing is to understand the meaning of the content, which is not invented but taken from blogs, it is called information
And a "new" EV is not rally new! Sometimes they stay in a lot for months unattended. They can be shipped for months on a boat ETC. My local dealer ordered 20 EV vans 2 years ago and some of them are still on the lot. For sure they have severe battery degradation now. It's not like in the good old days when 12V batteries was stored dry in the cells and the shop filled them when sold and you knew you got a quality product. Then came the maintenance free crap they sell today.
This is subject which is dividing people .Owners of EV hate those who doubt about it's value. When they face normal for any car damage or no fuel they hate themself for spending that money. .
do not divide, it could be a way to bring them closer together, and to give information to those who buy a first electric vehicle, perhaps giving more years of warranty
I believe that EVs can be a part of the solution, but not the solution. I don't know why the manufacture has gone off the rails when it comes to putting more or less unnecessary tech into EVs. Why didn't they just switch the drive train and leaving dashboard alone. Call me old school but I like to be able to operate the various functions via a button (press or rotate). I can do it in the matter of a fraction of the time and attention needed to operate via a touchscreen. I also like the have the critical information shown right in front of me not away from the reality of driving which is straight ahead. I don't need the surroundings to be depicted on a screen it is just out side and in couloirs and far better visual quality. I believe that the tech scares a part of the buyers away.
We all get it, you don't accept that climate change is real. That's your choice. So, tell us; what will you do when your insurance carrier cancels your home policy and the next Cat 5 storm hits your neighbourhood and flattens or floods the place. We have now seen the first Category Five hurricane in history to form in June. The current business model for insurance providers is getting destroyed by storm after storm. The corporations are bleeding billions because of the ever more severe weather. Either all of us will be forced to pay massively higher premiums (ours has already doubled because of the rise in storm claims), or find ourselves in areas no insurance company will write a policy for. I'm not being dramatic. I'm being pragmatic.
@@ronaldlamascus1944 and the issue of fires will be ironed out for sure...next generation batteries are reported to eliminate the risk of fire entirely
Explain, please, why VW and other companies are ramping up EV production? This is BS news prorogated by, who else, oil company propaganda. They have been at the demise of every industry, whether corporate or private, so as to protect their HUGE profit margins, and they will do anything to do so. And we as little peons fall for it all. Simply put, they are evil, EVIL!!
As one who has been part of the management of car dealers, I sympathize with the dealers and their employees and families, but I have also been a great victim of dishonest, not Dealer Owners, but General managers, Service managers and so-called Auto Technicians. I purchased a Honda CRV in Albany Ga, after having an oil and filter change; I paid for the bill, two weeks later, the Manager of another place asked me: How well maintained is your car? Very well, the Honda Dealer does all the maintenance; He checked the oil, and it was very dark, and 2.5 quarts low. I contacted the service Manager and explained to him what was going on> He did not even respond to me; I contacted the General Manager, and he ignored me. I attempted to contact the owner, but the manager prevented me. while all of this was happening, I gave the dealer the very best of ratings, because he is a great employer in the city of Albany, I have a lot of respect for people who invest in the city they live in, and support many great causes; Because of this experience, I feel a great relieve, and agree with the manufacturers. only I wish they would continue Dealers to serve the cars they sell directly to the public.
Your information isn't very good. You never made any live test. Xiaomi has got LFP batteries, like my BYD. You normally charge 100% - and recharge at close to zero or perhaps 5% with LFP's. The "official" range in China is CLTC, in Europe we use WLTP, and in the US - EPA. All 3 are different methods - the CLTC the most "kind", the EPA the most correct probably. One main problem with "average" milage is also temperatures - both too hot, or too cold. Perhaps Xiaomi has solved this in a better way - who knows - until som serious test is done, by people who understand the complete issue. Besides I know Xiaomi use 'Aerogel' for battery isolation, the same as in Spaceships/shuttles. Subscribing to this bullshit - no thanks.
Why are you spreading nonsense and lies. Tesla battery degrade to 64% in 3 years meaning it has to be replaced under warranty. Battery replacement in Tesla cars since the first model S has been less than 3% and that's including Teslas that were driven several hundred thousand miles and used for delivery or Uber.
However, GM wasn't the only automaker with problems, we saw major recalls from Hyundai, costing an estimated $900 million, and Ford's Kuga plug-in hybrid facing recalls of $400 million of dollars related to fires. Thermal management and fire safety of electric vehicles is a topic that IDTechEx continues to research and monitor
Yep another unfactal bullshit video !!! FROM an anti EV person that has no idea of what the fuck he's talking about !!! No mention of Teslas burning ???? It's all about Chinese crap and major auto makers thats trying to catch up with Tesla ,, any person that can think for them selves with half a brain know the facts !!!
Bought a Tesla Model 3 used 5 years ago. Ive used it for deliveries ever since. Its got over 254k miles on it now. The battery is still at 92% capacity. Cheapest car I have ever owned as far as operating costs and maintenance. And definitely the most reliable used car I have ever owned as well.
@@Techwheels2024 Despite what the media would have you believe, the Tesla's are the safest cars on the road today. Their ADAS systems have saved my ass 3 times. Twice its saved me from being t-boned by people who ran red lights. I went to drive away and the car would not move, and then I see them coming...
People should test drive EVs on their own and make up their own minds. My experience is that they're fantastic technology, superior to ICE vehicles. I'll never go back to ICE. Don't be swayed by RU-vid FUD videos - try them yourself.
we are here to provide information, we take inspiration from blogs, we don't want misunderstandings to arise, everyone will then make their own assessment
@@Techwheels2024 That's important to hear. Too much misinformation exists on the web now with regards to EVs, from too many outlets with a bias or an agenda. Consumers should try the vehicles and determine their merits for themselves, with hopefully some honest reviews from online reviewers.
