I've had a Secret Labs Titan Evo 2022 for 2 years now. I paid a lot of money for it because I was swept up with all the hype and desperately needed to get out of my Corsair T1 at the time, which was absolutely horrific. You said about the breaking in period for the Titan Evo? It doesn't exist. I bought a seat cushion after a few months of owning the Evo 2022 as it is like sitting on concrete, as you said. There is absolutely no give and the seat is practically flat. My tailbone gets very sore after a short amount of time. The lumbar support is internal but it's barely noticeable. Due to me working from home and also being a gamer (so sitting at my computer for upwards of 12 - 14 hours per day, my back, especially my lower back, gets sore. I foolishly bought a bright cloth seat, too, and it stains very easily. I've used upholstery cleaner and, even my car chair cleaner and nothing gets it clean. They now sell you seat covers which cost the price of a budget office chair. Don't get me wrong, there are some nice features, like for example the arm rests - they have a button for each axis of movement, which is practically unheard of. The materials are good quality over all. I know this video is a couple of years old but for anyone who might come across it - this guy is speaking the truth. Take it from someone who spent a fortune on this chair and now has to spend another fortune to get out of it. If for some reason you like a rock hard seat, then by all means you might love this chair. For most people, however, the most important part of the chair - the seat, is incredibly uncomfortable. The one plus about it is that the foam will NEVER run down on this thing... but that might be because the seat is filled with bricks and not foam. I wouldn't be surprised.
Thanks man. If you're still posting reviews on RU-vid add UK in the title. I doubt I'm the only one who searches for UK reviews so as to avoid all the American OTT rubbish. Simple, honest, succinct and a pleasure to the ears. Cheers.
Unfortunately I made the mistake of purchasing a Boulies a couple of years ago when they seemed fairly new to the market. I held pretty much identical opinions to you about Secretlab. Within the first year however the gas lift system failed, when raised up it would gradually sink throughout my session, and in about an hour or so I would be at the lowest height which was a bit too low for my desk. I carried on with it and during the second year with the chair the tilt mechanism would gradually fail. I noticed it wouldn’t sit as upright as it used to, and eventually it would only sit in quite a laid back position, uncomfortable for long sessions and I used pillows to prop myself up which has now led to back problems. When I checked this recently I saw that the tilt mechanism underneath was all cracked from the welds, despite myself being under the recommended weight limit. Unfortunately sometimes you get what you pay for, and in the case of Secretlabs this may be true. I finally purchased one and it is due to arrive this week, I wish I just sucked up the cost and got one from the start to be honest, two friends of mine own a Secretlabs Titan (one XL), both for at least two years and apparently they perform as they did on day one. Sure they are expensive, but for a genuinely quality office chair you’re looking at £500 bare minimum and £1k more realistically anyway. I was honestly about to go the Hermann Miller route, but who knows, maybe in two years I’ll be writing exactly this about the Secretlabs and wishing I got a HM from the start! 😅
Wtf do you do with your controller? These are not meant as actual building tools. Don't trust fortnite. Ffs. Been using my wildcat for over 8 years now and it's literally fallen off my desk more than once. Still working. Stick drift is finally starting to set in now on the left stick. Tbh it's just a stick misalignment right now. But to give you an idea of how much I use it, the rubber on my left analog is non existent There's still some at the underside because it doesn't just tear off, it wears off slowly over repeated use. I use my wildcat more. But my wolverine ultimate is so much nicer. Only use that when gaming with friends though. And while I can still get over a hundred hours of a game in a month, it's mostly single player. Used to get much more before work.
Hi, thank you for sharing your feedback, and we sincerely apologise for the delay in responding. Kindly contact our support team via our website if this hasn't been replaced. We have the upgraded seat cushion to replace this if you still need it. Thank you for your understanding!
The only better controller is the razor wolverine tournament edition but i cant seem to get my hands on a new one. This one is very good also but the wolverine v2 and anything after couldn‘t touch the tourment Edition to this day!
Just subscribed just on the basis, you are absolutely right I just wanted to know is it worth it. So thank you :) Work from home also so wanted a good chair without paying the over inflated Secretlabs price, Oh went for the Ninja :)
That controller looks so dirty and messed up, you should not be allowed to buy any controller, that controller suffer a lot of stress in your hands 😂😂😂 I had the same controller for years and my son has one as well, and we play a lot with no problem at all not a single one, in conclusion you are the problem not the controller and razer make good products overpriced yes, but they are good 😂
Bit of a late comment to this video... but I was struggling to decide what chair to buy before I came across your first video about the Elite Max and after watching this video I decided immediately to gamble on the Boulies. Got it today and I have no regrets. Agree that the armrests are a bit average but the chair itself is incredible. Jumped from a Nitro Concepts s300 and the difference is massive. The comfort and quality are way better than I was expecting and would highly recommend this chair to anyone. Thanks for the amazing videos especially the ones about the Boulies Elite
Just subscribed! I'm tech guy who's literally a beginner here on RU-vid. You talked about some interesting points. Had to subscribe. I hope to grow using your pointers. Great background music by the way. Happy to be here. Hi.
hi, just a little thumbnail change from my side, make the picture of impressions and views bigger in place of 1mllion and put the text below, you can do A/B testing for both if it helps:)
I've had mine for 2 and a half years now. I play a lot of guns games and take care of my controllers. It still works exactly the same as when I first bought it. The only difference now is the letters have faded away except the y button. I haven't even opened it yet to clean it.
I used almost all freaking controllers. So far the Razer wolverine chroma got me to champ 2 but the mouse clicks can be an issue due to the sensitivity but overall great controller. Dualsense for some reason it makes the care move a lot faster. Idk. Lol
Still works just be nice to fine tune things and mess with the rgb to match the rest of my pc & razer crap. Oh well. Best controller I’ve held in my life regardless and love the clicky buttons
Not for me. It’s very uncomfortable. The area it supports is NOT the wrist but rather the meaty parts of the palm, so your wrist still remains unsupported. It does make gliding the mouse on the mouse pad easier in some cases but when I only pivot my wrist, it’s restricting. If I have to move my entire forearm to move the mouse over a wider screen area then there’s some benefits. It’s a good concept with a poor design. Instead of supporting the bottom of the palm it should support lower where the wrist pivots by the wrist joint.
Nice one wd 👌🏻 I wanted to ask about your early arthritic symptoms, I would love to know if you ever improved them at all? Or is it really just a case of minimising symptoms...? My physio just thinks my recurring hand/arm pain comes from I'm overusing my forearm but he seems perplexed by my clicky joints and finger stiffness after a heavy gaming session... He said NSAID's & surgery should be "way down the line", but I'm concerned things are worsening (arthritic symptoms). Would love to hear about your hand journey some more, what you've learned, and any advices you have. Seems like we have similar stories. Thank you 🙏🏻
Yeah I had this controller for 5trs honestly best performing controller iv ever had and I'm staking it against the elite and scuff Mos Def a rage gamer review
If you were to compare the elite vs the manager which would you like for someone working from home all the time who also games! Cheers for the great vid, and any idea how it compares to the secret lab EVO Titan?
