Dude... Have you been watching me? 🤣 I am that guy you are talking about in the intro of your video LMAO!!!!! Great videos and lessons I really appreciate the details and the tips! subscribed 🤛
Great video, and yes like others the cost of the Spinfire pro 2 is OUCH. Is there a happy medium in the ball machine market cost wise with a remote etc..? A shootout video? (pun intended)
Great insight, I'm thinking of the racquet drop as "wrist lag". It's interesting how these principles carry across the stokes, Similar to the forehand when the butt cap points at the ball during the lag position and the torso complements the movement or stroke.
I have a hard time serving, after seeing this video, it’s Very helpful to me. I will go to the court and practice. Please have short video with tossing the ball with the serves
Sir, Excellent video with detailed explanation. Almost didn’t click because channel name too aggressive for me! Total Tennis Conditioning? I will really think more about this abduction, great point! I liked how you brought up Gasquet at the end, I have foolishly been trying to mimic his backhand this year. I think he brings it up that high to be able to drop it freely and really feel and guide the weight of the racket through the strike zone. He “draws the sword” extremely close to be able to maintain the leverage, as you say. He has extra grip at the bottom and I think he might use it to pull the racket through using the outside of his ring finger (!?) I would of course love to hear your thoughts on this :) Great instructions on the grip also btw, keep it up!
Thank you Kevin. Those were some excellent drills, and very clearly explained. I’ve been looking for something to help me with my foot work and I’m definitely going to be doing Those drills.. Great job.
How far back should I be from the wall? My courts have the wall behind the court, about the same distance behind the baseline as the distance from the baseline to the service line.
Kevin you are the real deal. Been playing tennis for a long, long time and have read a lot of material on the serve but THIS is the Missing Link! God Bless you for your talent, insight and Generosity.
Great video on forehand instruction. You just nailed the missing puzzle. Did you also do the two handed backhand ? I haven't seen it yet. Can you please do one ? One of the finest tennis instructor on line. Thank you.
Thank you so much that you explained the one of the keys / secret of serves. Other video didnt manage to point out this at all when explaining the eblow up in serves
Excellent video, but instead of saying take your racquet back to the student, say unit turn and your racquet will go back. This is the mistake most club players do. So the whole lessons basically unit turn, hip turn or knee turn. Or you could say without moving your arms, belly to the side, belly button to the target.
I've been scrolling through different videos and always end up back to Kevin's. He is such a master of the game and so good at getting his messages across.
Kevin, thank you for posting this video. I did the drills for the backhand for three days and I couldn’t believe the difference when I hit the court. I already watched the video for the forehand . Do you happen to have a similar video with home drills for serve? Thank you.
