These homes are being bought, then some owners turn around and rent them out to people who are not from this country. They hire contractors to help with that. The people move in and then they set their own rules. They don't follow HOA regs, nor city/county compliance codes. Some houses sometimes occupy 5,6 maybe more men at one time. They're dirty, disgusting and sometimes vulgar.

Are the taxes for this home valued/under. New constructions taxed as land and next year more high appraised with property. I know in Florida it’s no more than 3%, what are real world numbers for Texas

The reason for my question is because as a mortgage loan officer my self, I understand that home builders' and a handful of lenders with hi fees often have strict guidelines that can make it challenging for borrowers to get approved. Still too expensive. Average American family cannot afford $3000 or $4000 house payments. That’s insane. Prices for these homes need to go down another 20% from the peak.
Hi Patricia! Unfortunately there is not. Finding a home with a basement out here is pretty rare. For some reason they don’t build homes with basements…
