Wow , if Ali was to box today in his prime as the real Ali ,it would be totally out of this world the support he would have , it would be totally amazing ❤❤❤❤
Even if still only aged 30 in his comeback, the issue was that he was a footspeed/timing fighter in his defense, and being out for 3 1/2 years not only diminished his timing, endurance, and footspeed, but made him completely financially broke. He took on undefeated killer Frazier in his 3rd fight back, for money, and hadn’t adjusted his style enough to account for what had been lost, still pulling back from punches, trying to circle but losing stamina more quickly etc. As he moved further into 1970’s, he had a 2nd peak around 1974 because he had learned a new style of defense that didn’t require as much endurance and footspeed, and on offense, he sat down much more on his punches. Obviously, the 1974 version of Ali took a lot more punishment, though.
Are you insane. You are the aggressor not the other person. Your the one attacking him. According to your scenario he doesn't put his hands on you. You're teaching people to beat innocent people. You sucker punch someone because in your mind they are going to punch you, but you have no way of knowing. Hopefully you get arrested for your aggression.
I can't believe you're even asking this question. Ali would beat all those clowns in one nite. Todays boxers punch like girls. They have no skill at all. Then we have the power of Ali's mind.
That is a big IF. But I don't believe, not even for a second, that Jake Paul could knock him out. Mike already played with Jake's brother and roughed him up. Jake is much closer to his brother's skills than he is compared to iron Mike.
Height means nothing at all ,plenty of boxers have knocked out opponents much taller than them and it happens today, by the way Ali demolished Terrell who was 6f7!
12 years ago, i got jumped at a gas station in germany. 4 dudes and one chick. I was 22 back then. Now for the context, my step father trained and beat me up in the worst ways someone can imagine, his Words where i will make a monster out ouf you. I was New in germany i didnt know that stuff like that would happen over there. So i defended my self and fucked all 4 off them. After they punched me i snapped so bad i was again a kid and remembered all that what happened to me so i left it all out. It was like a split second. One of them had a crushed skull. Its not worth i could have run away but my ego was big that time. Almost got 3 years of prison. And a very big fine. Lucky they where all convicted and known als troublemaker. I was clean not a single parking ticket. After that afernoon i never was the same. I ca describe it so good how Quick that all happened. Its not worth fellas
Re: Spring 1965...Sonny is eliminated. I agree with many others that Clay was, perhaps, the best heavyweight boxer to ever step into the ring. That being said, I'm not sure that Clay ever beat Liston, and I'm not sure that he ever beat Norton. Just sayin'
Ali had a very short prime as did Mike Tyson. Cus D'amato on TV warned Ali that he had a style dependent on split second timing and that he's getting old and will get hit a lot and lose. Ali wasn't successful in older years like Holmes or Foremen-deserves the most credit IMO for winning it again at 45 years old. Prime Tyson beats a prime Ali, as Ali had problems with a similar pressure fighter, Frazier.
What happens if Jesus comes back??? What happens if banks decide to give away interest free loans? What happens if Joe Biden becomes Jeopardy champion after his 2nd term?
Tyson knows the stakes going in. This is the same issue he faces everytiime he steps into the ring. Honestly bro, I don't think he cares what people think.
Ali would be destroyed. He got dominated by lesser fighters plenty of times. He even had to cheat to survive against Henry Cooper lol. Leon Spinks lol. Even in his prime he was dropped and dominated by fighters like Joe Frazier.
