They are not Amish, rather Mennonites. Unlike the Amish, Mennonites are not prohibited from using motorized vehicles. In addition, Mennonites are also allowed to use electricity and telephones in their homes. When it comes to their beliefs, the Amish and Mennonite faiths are very similar. The differences lie mainly in the outward practice of those beliefs.
Can anyone join the Amish church? I only see white people who are Amish. Has there ever been a POC who is Amish? I want to see a video about that please. Thank you.
Loved this video, great content. Warning to anyone ordering a "mystery box"... don't. It isn't a box and the items aren't more than the cost you pay. Trust me
At 20:11 mins, they are not in Tullamore, they are in Lucan, beside Woodies. Then they get in the car, it returns to their progress map, and they are still moving from Tullamore….jokers Editors my arse, might want to start learning how to edit 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Hey guys, I'm seeing if you can send me on a trip for a few days with the Iceman. Hoff I struggle day to day and was seeing if a trip would be possible. Your vids drew so many tears from me I could have an ocean named after me.
I bought some Mad Honey from the internet and supposedly the source and I was very disappointed. I don't think it's possible to buy real mad honey unless you know someone.
But these are the new order amish, since they have electricity , and they are open to outsiders... Regardless, I loved this insight. Greetings from Lithuania.
Trying to figure out how I just found you all today. As have been a world traveler until I retired a few years ago, I am honored to have found you all traveling as I have. I'm not a tourist. I want to find THE people. I have watched 5 videos and thank you for what you do.
If its so great perhaps they should round up all aboriginals and transport them out to the desert to live as they have done so for millennia, however I doubt many would go instead prefering modern western style comforts. Lets not romanticise this culture it has an equally dark side to it that forces the authorities to intervene but this is totally covered up and misrepresented by the main stream media
63 yo man here, been watchin u guys for yrs now gotta say the tears for joy when Thomas opened his eyes,, im not into the hobbit stuff but to see Thomas lit up,,, means so much as hes done so much for a positive movement in this world and other people,,heres to yes theory and seek discomfort ✌️❤
I understand you Ammar and everyone els suffering, living or surviving with ADHD. When I moved out on my own I found out just how much it affects my life. I’ve lost a lot of things, forgotten payments, and over scheduling myself. But my ADHD is me and I am a creative fun individual because of it. Take a moment to recognize and acknowledge the gifts of ADHD❤️
i've seen many bands play their first shows and a lot of them have been at very nice venues. you have to have an opener, and a lot of them are trash but trash that tries. i've seen terrible bands on huge stages and phenomenal bands in basements. just keep doing it. never stop swimming lest ye drown. i'm commenting at 6:30 for the love of the reveal
Have you heard of “shunning”? It’s a pretty big part of their religion and the ultimate resort if a member(s) of their community refuses any number of the community’s core beliefs. They refuse to speak to, do business with, break bread or acknowledge the shunned person or persons. This is used as a way to pressure individuals in their community to abide and accept the religious values and doctrines of the group. They do not do this to outsiders as they do not hold them to any of their own standards. I understand your perception of the Amish but I can assure you that they 100% do judge and heavily pressure members of their communities to group think.
This is possibly the most important video you've ever done Thomas. Well done, it will help many people. I've been a meditator for many years and still feel a bit of an oddity, as i know very few people personally who practice. As they say 'The hardest thing for a person to do is sit in a room alone - with their thoughts". So great to connect over this topic. Love your work. Mike Tasmania
