Im so confused on this rig setup haha , could someone that understands it kindly post a picture/sketch please. Is it in effect 2 straight wieghted rigs attached together end to end that are fed into the water and fed around ?
No table to pick on dam that poor guys back must be destroyed at the end of the day not to mention it cuts pick time in half with a table you can see where the fish is in the net instead of just ripping and tearing at it
I have been watching a few videos like this and I can't believe they don't use a table?, every dayboat I ever worked on had one that was not fixed so you could pop it on and off relatively easy. It would not hinder the flaker either.

What a callous fisherman killing crab like that he will be the first to complain about not enough crab bastards now that’s a method of fishing that is not sustainable zero recovery traps would work better

This is amazing how he is working alone and not tangling the line and still has control of the boat. It is a history of what he probably learnt from his Father and Grand Father. Perfect video!
