I suspect the cost per unit is reducing rapidly, as amortising the cost would include the military grade equipment needed to fly these 75 miles whilst resisting EW jammers etc. the cost of the consumable (the plane) will be negligible over time. It’s likely the 3 to 6kg explosive payloads are more expensive. But if you consider an F16 is something like $15-20K per hour to operate, and can’t fly in SAM defended airspace safely without risking $35M of aircraft or its highly trained, at great expense, and not easily or quickly replaced blood and muscle cargo… a $5K drone isn’t an issue… send 100! The actual maths is what is the asymmetric cost per target destroyed. If a $5K drone, or even 10 ($50K) sent to destroy a $30M Russian jet, or 30,000 tons of munitions storage…. you’re buying victory at a much lower cost than your enemy!
I think I heard Storm Shadow is $1M a pop… so, rather than 2 storm shadow missiles. Send 200 PPDs to soften them up and drain their AA, and through the swarm of PPD send a storm shadow where the sun don’t shine!

Body armor is great on paper..but... Get Hit in the armpit your gone. Get Hit in the throat your gone. Get Hit in iliac artery ( lower part armor doesnt cover, your gone. Get Hit in the upper arm (Brachial artery) you are gone.. Point is body armor doesnt cover nearly enough of vital ARTERIES.
