This channel focuses on videos from places I've visited around the world, and some Super 8 Cine Films and camcorder footage of places that my parents and Grandparents captured years ago.
The majority of content on this channel will be from my home country of England, and other parts of the UK that I have travelled to; including Wales and Scotland (I hope to visit Northern and Southern Ireland soon!).
I carry my camera everywhere with me, so have a lot of footage from holidays in Europe (including Spain, Malta, France, Italy, Croatia, Estonia, and Amsterdam).
I also have lots of footage from my 6 month backpacking trip around India, Nepal, South East Asia (including Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia), New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji in 2019-2020 (we were forced to return home early due to the COVID-19 pandemic...).
I have been creating content for RU-vid since 2009 - see my other channel about animals and nature @Quagmi.
I was trying everywhere to see if this route is wheelchair accessible and I couldn't find out, until I saw this video. Thank you! I know it wasn't your intention for the vid but it really helped.
It looks dangerous, but as long as you keep walking, the traffic just weaves around you. This was the second time we crossed the road after arriving in Saigon. We hesitated right at the end of the video, when a car was coming and we had to make a quick dash so that it missed us!
Lol, I think they are currently lowering the road - it's been closed since April and won't re-open until October next year! They will also be replacing the bridge as part of the Oxford train station improvements
Love this, you got any 80's videos but from a proper VHS/Betamax Video Camera?? My dad still has his- JVC GR-C1 up in the loft, among many other 80's gadgets like his Motorola Pager 😀 Shame you didn't show any footage there for: Space Station Zero-loved that indoor coaster-which as you know turned into The Flying Fish. As much as I like that I prefer Space Station Zero-where you from?
Hi, yeah I've got a few camcorder videos. I don't have anything to play them on unfortunately, but did convert some a few years ago. I'm originally from Southampton, and I found some footage that my Grandparents filmed of the city in the 90s
@@MyWorldThroughALens What make of Video Camera! One of my fav brands was Amstrad, I loved all the Amstrad TV/Radio adverts, pics in Magazines/Papers, mentioned on Teletext/Ceefax etc..... A couple of my friends parents were Amstrad mad-and had everything from them from watches, radio alarm clocks, PC Computers, Video Cameras, Microwaves, Dishwashers etc lol Would you upload any, would be great? Ah originally from Southampton, was only showed/mentioned on Homes Under the Hammer 3 months ago-did you see it? I'm in Kent-right between Dartford/Bexleyheath 😃
There's rumours that the road will be closed until 2025 now. Also some have been saying they might leave it closed to private cars and vans permanently, with a bus gate...
Thank you! I used a Reflecta film scanner. It takes about half an hour to scan, and a bit of experimenting with the exposure and sharpness settings, but definitely worth the effort
