I've been wanting to see a review regarding this saber good sir. That flat blade is really something. I am definitely going to check out that saber. I forgot that a Dark Lava Blade would look great on that hilt.
If its broken it should NOT HAVE A CROSS GAURD ,1st its fixed as a double bladed saber staff , then double bladed splitsaber , finally to double blade split saber w/Crossgaurd emitter , a whole red onr already did this
Their kind of in a hard spot because his story wasn't done so I hear they're going to recast. It was a good man and did a great job with that character. He will be sorely missed.
My only issue with lightsabers like these is to me I couldn’t ever change its font or colour from that classic Luke, it’s just too good not to And to me that means I’d just be not utilising that profile board
I wish they would find a way to hide the charger port but still have it be external. Partial disassembly to charge is kind of a pain. I get it can't be done with every hilt though. If they did the round charger port you could hide it under a knob on some of them I think. Not much room to work with in those hilts so I get it.
conclusions from digging into it for almost 2 months now: 1. custom color change from palette only good for basic blade effect, didn't work with special blade effects I downloaded, maybe it works only with stable.. gotta check again. 2. all the custom settings I did and sometimes worked on for a long time -- gets zeroed(erased) back to stock when I pull out the 18650 , in my case -to replace w\ a fresh one 3. this SNV4 PRO *REALLY ROCKS* when it comes to visual blade effects, but more cumbersome, borderline troublesome when compared to the ease and trouble-free(dom) of the Xenopixel V3 when it comes to addind \ customizing "fonts".. 4. extension of 3 , when you wanna make a new \ customized font , some (enough) *donor* fonts won't or moght *not* 'like' to work so well as they do automatically & flawlessly as on Xenopixel .. examples: repeatedly activates only *one* of the many accented swings ; won't cycle through more than *two* "force" effects , etc' .. hoping an update will fix those soon ..
I say this with as much love as i can. As i love your content but some of us out here cant afford a lot of the sabers you review. I've done a lot of looking around and the starkiller (jade 2) i ordered from neo sabers was the cheapest i could find in xeno pixel v3 let alone a proffi was out of my price range. Sometimes its like back in the day when ya see the kid riding around in the motorized jeep and you just have an old tricycle that was probably a hand me down. The comparisons are the hard part. Some of us can only afford semi passable replicas. Honestly if i see a video with a Vader's sabers on it i don't watch it. I'm not trying to say change how you do things i love your content but sometimes its hard to watch a video about a $2,500 lightsaber when I'm breaking the bank just to get one for $449 before shipping. the windu comparison was kinda brutal for someone who might have to settle with it. I'm happy for all those that can afford to spend that higher price tag but i just want a damn character lightsaber that i don't have to take out a loan for. Forgive me if this sounds harsh its not ment to be.
Not harsh at all. I understated very much as I also can’t afford most things I want but I have never once reviewed a lightsaber for $2500. I think the highest end was an Ahsoka set (2 sabers) made by elf sabers that was $1200 ($600 each) so I’m not 100% sure where the $2500 lightsaber is coming from as I never even seen one at that price in person. I can’t afford a corvette or Lamborghini or lavish vacations but that don’t stop me from just sitting back and enjoying some video entertainment. I photography homes that are upwards of 5-10 million dollars that I’ll never afford in my wildest dreams and ask myself what did I do wrong in life! but I have a great time visiting these homes and seeing these luxurious houses. Can’t afford them. Drives me nuts that some people can buy that is life I guess. Sorry that you seem to struggle financially but do not think for a second that 90% of us out here don’t struggle. I sure do. Every month is a struggle to pay bills just the same as you. These are just lightsabers. Just toys. Day to day life and family are more important than toys if thats where money needs to be spent. My friend has 5 cars and 3 motorcycles and I can barely afford my 1 car. Sadly it’s just how the world is. Disney and Hasbro have reasonable prices on their sabers and many look great on disney. I have a bunch myself. Maybe that’s the direct for you. I apologize, I may have mistaken one of your videos with someone else's on the $2500 one. I've watched a lot of unboxing and reviews impatiently waiting for my saber to get here. It's my first and I'd like to know all I can and you've been incredibly helpful. I'm not a fan of Disney sabers and I got the one I wanted or will when it gets here. I wanna thank you for the review on the hilt with the rotating crystal. I was thinking about that one but thought better of it after I heard it making noise in your review video. Plus one more thing to break on it. This is also the first time a content creator has replied to one of my comments so thank you. Star wars is a great example of sometimes we let our frustrations get the better of us and this is what this was. I'm doing fine but not as fine as I'd like to be and that's not your fault or problem. You seem like a good dude, if you happen to find yourself in Maine with a lightsaber we might just have us a duel lol thanks again!
I am sold, I have to get this. Love new wave. I have Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, and Missile Command on my shelf, love these guys. And on a side note, sounds like you had an awesome dad!
IMO sn v4 pro is a downgrade from the regular. Missing functions: Stab to turn on, swing to turn on. Twist to turn on is very difficult to use, even with senitivity on 100%... You can't set custom color per every font like you could in snv4, creating custom blade effects is much more complicated now (but it does give you more options I suppose). For me, it seems like it's still kinda in BETA.
So two of the companies either don’t exist or they were shutdown. Corbat is Korabanth Sabers now and the first company you mentioned was actually shutdown cause the guy couldn’t do it anymore. I’m looking at Demian Sabers cause they have an adapter for their Sabers that you just pop the core out, take off the NEO Pixel and put on an RGB adapter on it and you’re good to go for dueling.
Getting a disney saber from the lowest rated and most divisive show that's actively attacking fans and killing what's left of Star Wars is insane to me.
To me it looks wrong the curvature near the emitter is supposed to be 30°. With this model they took the curve almost completely out. If you were to point your finger and measure the angle of your grip it would be 30°. It's the most comfortable position to have your wrist in. So holding count dooku's saber should be more like holding a 9 mm Luger. PS this is not meant to be mean love your reviews. I'm waiting on a jade 2 (starkiller) I ordered and can't wait. It's my first. My wife will soon be ordering ashoka's long saber. We plan on getting the tfu2 and the ashoka short saber for Christmas or before if we can. My birthday is on the 18th of July so we decided on this. We went with xeno v3 cause we can't really afford the extra money and work to play around with making fonts. Maybe one day because I have some ideas for sound fonts. Thanks for passing what you know in these reviews it's gonna help a lot.
I got mine on Aliexpress with a blade for $525. I chose an episode 5 verson. I then purchased an episode 4 bottom and episode 4 and 7 clamp cards. I can set the saber up for all three films.
Is not even that their boot designs are bad it's the fact that hot toys constantly uses the ever dreaded pleather they really need to stop doing that just use sculpted plastic for actual leather it's not that difficult
