It’s here! New SNV4 PRO Lightsabers and Force Park V2 app 

NOTE: the new Force Park V2 app does not seem to be backwards compatible with the previous SNv4 core. The SNv4 PRO is a completely new board.

So I was playing with this earlier and realized something about the color palette. On the bottom left of the color wheel you see “effect zero color 1”. If you tap that, it will switch to “effect zero color 2” and 3 and so on until 12. This is because the blade has 12 preset color slots. So what you can do in that color palette setting is customize those 12 presets. Just find the color you want, and save it to one of the 12 slots. That way when you cycle through colors you can cycle through your own custom colors rather than the stock ones. Unfortunately I don’t think your custom colors affect the blade effects color choices but I guess that makes sense since some of those only have two options like the rainbow blade so they wouldn’t be linked to the standard colors. And I just realized that’s why the button is labeled “effect zero…” Effect zero is the standard effect with the 12 modifiable colors.

Thank you for another great video you are the goat for the latest lightsaber news. So glad we now have more customisation that can get close to Proffie without too much extra expense

Looks really good good I like that they’ve brought some proffie ignition’s over also seems to be more to it , I love it has blade speed control too , looking forward to to its release 🔥

I agree with others that there will never be a 'proffie killer' simply because proffie's whole thing is 'you can program in whatever you want.' As long as you got people that want to play around endlessly with how they can implement different sounds and effects in any number of combinations of swings and button presses, proffie will always be the pioneer on the lightsaber front. The coders can dream and implement faster than the manufactures can keep up, and that's a good thing, as it always sets a high bar to aim for with each new font someone dreamed up. BUT at the very least these apps for Xeno and SNV4 are closing the gap and making them very competitive. I REALLY hope Xeno3 get's their blade effects editor up soon like what SNV4 has, that's what I'm most interested in. Personally I want to see some blade effects that happen when you swing, similar to ghost blade but with like changing color or something, I know I've seen a proffie font 'sebulba' that does that.

conclusions from digging into it for almost 2 months now: 1. custom color change from palette only good for basic blade effect, didn't work with special blade effects I downloaded, maybe it works only with stable.. gotta check again. 2. all the custom settings I did and sometimes worked on for a long time -- gets zeroed(erased) back to stock when I pull out the 18650 , in my case -to replace w\ a fresh one 3. this SNV4 PRO *REALLY ROCKS* when it comes to visual blade effects, but more cumbersome, borderline troublesome when compared to the ease and trouble-free(dom) of the Xenopixel V3 when it comes to addind \ customizing "fonts".. 4. extension of 3 , when you wanna make a new \ customized font , some (enough) *donor* fonts won't or might *not* 'like' to work so well as they do automatically & flawlessly as on Xenopixel .. examples: repeatedly activates only *one* of the many accented swings ; won't cycle through more than *two* "force" effects , etc' .. hoping an update will fix those soon ..

Very awesome. I like the Stargate font people have. If I knew anything about adding fonts to Proffie, I would have it on my Luke cave saber. Maybe a SN or Xeno lightsaber purchase in the future I would get that font for them.

Really Cool! It looks like they are adding more stuff from Proffie boards to the SNV4. I think that Kaboom Font I saw would benefit from this. Pretty sure the Xeno v3 will update again.

Force Park V2 app doesn't have volume presets like that, it's mute, low or High.

Just got the Darksaber V2 and the app works great but I got a question about the sound font area. It has the “upload” button at the bottom of the area, is that for uploading it direct from my phone or is just for uploading that particular font from the SD card.

Hey John! New saber owner here. I was wondering what blade you were using in this video and which blades you actually would recommend? I recently purchased a saber from Vaders and i love the product, however the blade just doesn't seem to be up to the same sort of class as i see in your videos! IS this trickery of the camera? Any help would be highly appreciated! Love the content man!

This is huge news - this uses a Proffie chip and uses Proffie styles.

Found the V2 app and it's great, but the Blade effects arent loading for some reason

@TheCollectorsOutpost fast question should i get the SNV4 pro or proffie I already own a proffie but wanna try something new i found the IMPERIAL FROST CRYSTAL super cheap for $160 with a discount code down to $153 i also found the Stormblaster Lightsaber in black with the Xeonpixel 3 for $233 are both boards good i love proffie but hate having to add all the effects to the saber then using the config. to be honest its been almost 2 years since i put any new config or update my proffieOS im still using the the os that i can change my fonts and whatever by double press the power to go into edited mode

Used the app,completely mixed up the colors and sound fonts on my saber

Also. Does it do a better job of done an orange blade. I have an ARTSABERS Baylan but to give it the orange/Red look. I can’t get it right.

Proffie will always be most advanced, most complex, but most customizable Golden Harvest is for those (that's me) that want something really customizable, but they can figure out how to program easily & fast in a couple of days SNv4 & Xenopixel are the easiest to handle, but it looks like SNv4 has gotten ahead a bit in customization. I bet a major update to Xeno Configurator isn't too far behind...

Does the V2 app work with the OG SNV4 chips or is it only for the pro cores?

Just got my first saber introducing this new core and I honestly have mixed feelings about it. A lot of new cool stuff added but the flashing on clash seems very glitchy. I even set the sensitivity very low and it goes crazy when I hit the saber even just once. Have you had any issues with it so far?

How do you make a pink blade? Maybe my board can’t do it…

So how do you go back to the default speeds for a particular font if the adjustment for blade speeds overrides everything?

I just got this new SNV4 Pro board in my 2 button Ventress hilt and can’t seem to get the FOC to work properly (hit or miss at best) and the twist on and off and push/pull on and off doesn’t work at all and I even tried all of the different ForcePark V2 settings with no luck, any tips or suggestions?

We’re can you buy the board by itself? I don’t see it on Vaders Vault, & I don’t want to buy a whole new saber for an upgraded board.

My biggest issue by far is the fact that when you add sound fonts it brings it to the top which throws off all the colours and effects of all other profiles. Needs to be fixed asap

I 'COMBED' the internet, tried virtually EVERYthing -- no success: phone sees the saber and even PAIRS(!!) with pin "000000", but this app (and any ForcePark clone apps) -- do NOT detect it . . . frustrated.. oh -- and I didn't even find a main config file :( WEIRD A-F

Proffie is always the leading edge for what custom lightsabers can do. There will be no "Proffie Killer" because all these other boards are always just copying and playing catchup with capabilities that Proffie is pushing. Just look at all the stuff in the beta version of Proffie OS7, its doing stuff Xeno and SN cant even dream of. Heck Proffie has had Battle Mode for a couple of years now and no other board has managed to implement even a bare bones version of it in their tech. Frederik and Fett and the team of people constantly pushing the boundaries with Proffie is the reason why lightsaber tech has continued to grow and things didnt just stagnate with a couple ingition effects and flash on clash.

IMO sn v4 pro is a downgrade from the regular. Missing functions: Stab to turn on, swing to turn on. Twist to turn on is very difficult to use, even with senitivity on 100%... You can't set custom color per every font like you could in snv4, creating custom blade effects is much more complicated now (but it does give you more options I suppose). For me, it seems like it's still kinda in BETA.
