This will definitely help me as an editor with pacing, as well as starting out as a writer. But the one section regarding Jaws and the score by John Williams, it was a great example with the music to understand narrative and pacing. It reminds me of my college professor who taught me about how music impacts the tone of a scene and he has a text book that provides that. His name is Larry Timm.

Oh no, he's 100% an asshole. He was then, still is now, and I hope he never finds peace.

01:25 TWO can be a coincidence, at other times it can be a hard, binary, life vs death choice. Dilemma, tragic decision. THREE offers a way out, and keeps the story open. Choose wisely when to use what. Tragic choices are binary. It is "To be, or not to be?" not ""To be, or not to be, or perhaps should we explore the storyverse a bit more?"

His way to tell Storys makes me happy. And the way he films his movies makes me more happy. Thank you Mr. Anderson (no Neo , not you) . I am a happy Human on watching a Wes Anderson movie.

Thank you for this informative to-the-point video, delivered in such a calm authoritative way, and thankfully devoid of any distracting endeavour to "entertain" with added nonsensical humour! - Well done!

Having taught media studies for 14 years at Uni, when it came to editing, In the Blink of an Eye, was one of my important resources when presenting and discussing editing in class. I also had spent a lot of time at the dailies on two features which gave me a lot of insight as well. Our editor had done a lot of the editing on Star Trek, and was brought in to finish the editing on Dances with Wolves.

This woman really made a living off "teaching" writing, but can she actually write??

15:25 You seem quite vocal about this. It's clear that trailers and other marketing efforts can sometimes be poorly received by the public, as demonstrated by the example you provided
