I really liked the video, but I would agree with others that you need to slow down and really "show" the places. You're moving too fast to get a good look. Excellent job otherwise!
Great assessment! Use to luv Chevy Chase. The last house was too expensive for those apartment view. Plus it’s across the streets from Starbucks ie Grand Central Station so I understand flipping the yard into a parking lot. The parking on that street is the worse. Great local restaurants and shopping.
I have a house in Maryland, about 17 miles from DC. I couldn't stand to hear DC's police sirens all night long. I actually have wild bunnies hopping in my back yard.
Keep up the good work with the channel Sir.. BTW, I'm sure you get out to Woodmore often. The wealthiest majority Black town in the US.. Very beautiful area. I'm sure if you do a deep dive on Woodmore with "Wealthiest Majority Black Town" it will be a highly viewed video.
Cheverly is very nice.. I was torn between a home in Cheverly and New Carrollton when I purchased in 2011.. I ended up moving to New Carrollton, and somewhat regret it. The QOL in Cheverly is much better and it's getting better each day, while New Carrollton is on a decline
It’s gorgeous, but so many bedrooms. Why? Who has more than two , maybe three, kids today? No kitchenette in the lower level was a mistake. The kitchen is beautiful, but storage is lacking. It needs a pantry. No dedicated parking, arg. I think the price is fair, but so much wasted space. I’ll be curious about the person who buys this home :)
Just found your channel (subscribed). Funny story I currently live in the i5 (saw my window in your video ☺️) and I also viewed the 2br condo unit 1 on Maryland Ave last winter… it’s currently off the market 😔
Not really the video was a lie. You don’t seem to know much about upper Nw. You called Van Ess, Forest Hills. Forest Hills is a very small part of Connecticut Ave. You are way off the mark with the last 2 videos I’ve seen. You need a bit more education on the city. Especially when you were describing the United States National Arboretum…. Ridiculous
@@MichaelCampanella-md6mr well, despite my “lack of knowledge” of upper NW, im glad you got that far in the video to notice my ridiculous description on the arboretum. Thanks for watching 😉
$1000 HOA for no laundry washer & dryer hook up in my unit? NO THANK YOU. Dark ugly dated kitchen & parquet floor, trust me- you can have a dog if it's an emotional support animal.
lol... Don't do Malcolm X park like that. Who you selling to cuz...? You didn't include any history about the Meridian name, 16 street tour, and the latin history and population in Columbia Heights
Stunning property!! Thanks for sharing. BUT I have a saying, “If I’m paying anything that starts with an “M”, I’ll have acreage, NO neighbors and definitely not LIME Scooters in front (I hate those).😂 Primary bedroom and kitchen were a bit small, but cute and trust me, parking is always desired whether they have a personal Jeeves or not.😆 I’d submit an exceptions permit, open that fence and put in a parking space. Let’s have a tour of your office next. I’m sure it’s amazing!!
This was an amazing video, can't wait to watch more!! You even made H St. NE look clean and empty of the regulars, something I've never seen in my life.🤣
Those HOA fees are ridiculous. They are not capped, so they can go up. This is why we purchased in Maryland. We have so much more at a lesser price. Love looking out the window watching deer play. Well-done video.
Condo’s are not a good deal ! Pass on them ! If the roof goes you absorb that cost if the HOA doesn’t have a reserve . New building no reserve! Where is the in-unit washer and dryer .
i wouldnt say all condos are bad. You just have to do your homework into researching the affairs and history of the HOA before buying a condo in the HOA. Some HOA'S in DC are very efficiently ran and there also some not so great ones.
I know this location as I used to work in the Capitol Hill area for many years, and I would take Massachusetts ave when driving to work. This house is beautiful, but the location is odd to me. Mass ave is so busy, especially during rush hour, and the side streets where the house is located are super busy too. The backyard is extremely exposed to passersby. I'd personally be concerned about safety because of the busyness and foot traffic. If this house was on a less busy location, I think it would be better... plus the kitchen doesn’t have much cabinet space.
I am a DC native and I like that the structure fits in with the original DC architecture. However, at that price point it does not give enough kitchen, parking, closet space and private backyard space. I would have preferred less rooms and kitchen in basement. This looks like a renovated apartment building.
Wow! It would have been nice to mention Bennett Career Institute that also located in the area. A BLACK FAMILY OWNED business been there since 1996 and still there.
The should have put a curve way on the side. Plus there are too many windows that lack the accommodation for a dresser with mirror & chest drawer set. It looks more like an office building with a kitchen added to me. & People can get a bigger & better house with plenty of both garage & off street parking in the suburbs of DC in MD. They will need to put window privacy film on those bathroom windows . I hope they windows do ever leak. The utility bill will be crazy! Is the home insulated?
No. 3 is definitely not worth the money they’re asking. So you can see the water view from the window but that “balcony” is a joke. I know you can go up to the rooftop but that wouldn’t be MY private space. No. 2 had a better balcony w/o the water view. If I were in the market for a condo, I’d go for no. 2.
I have to say that I’m glad we bought our house in DC way before they started instituting HOA fees on the newer homes. HOA’s have too much say over what you do with your property. Not a fan of having to ask permission to change my property. I’ve heard some real horror stories about HOA’s. Over the years, I’ve seen where they have changed the single family homes in my neighborhood to multiple condo homes, to adding another level to the homes.
