The reference to "Goding" in the name of the School Within School at Goding should be pronounced as "GO-ding" not "Godding." The original name of the school (est. during the early 1960s) was Anne M. Goding Elementary School, at 10th and F Streets, NE. I went to Goding Elementary for 5th and 6th grades (November 1965 - June 1967). My parents bought their Capitol Hill home on the 1200 block of Maryland Avenue NE in November 1965 for about $16,950 with a $11.5K mortgage after downpayment according to the DC land records. The neighborhood is referred to as Old City I. This reference was a carryover from the original Washington City when the city limit near the house was Boundary Street (present day Florida Avenue NE) to separate the colonial-era Washington City, DC from Washington County, DC. My father sold and closed on the childhood home in November 2005. The last sale of this home was in 2017 for $970K.

All in all, I enjoyed the tour with some adjustment, you will have a viable real eastate channel here. I subscribed and will follow you... If I could make a couple of suggestions? You have a good voice, I would use it more for voice overs so the coverage could be smoother and less hurried. Almost everything you said outside could have been a voice over too spend more time in the spaces, And if on or near a corner, briefly show the corner of the block as you sweep into the units. You are moving and swirling the camera around far too fast and much for me too get a feel for the layouts and features. Do it slower, much slower, and not so frantically. It would be helpful if you had done walk throughs before you filmed locations so you already knew layouts, features and size so not so hectic. I think, in the pricier homes that you must have missed a few En Suite baths upstairs, several doors you didn't open. Important too specify if there is a bathroom off bedrooms or in the hall only. All those prices are "dirt cheap" compared to Manhattan and even Brooklyn now. Remember that D.C. is a confusing city if you have not been there, so maybe a Map insert would be real helpful. And, some mention of how close and what kind of useful businesses are near: grocery stores, cleaners, drug stores, etc. (Two cafes don't really make a neighborhood viable)

Not one home had any window coverings, no mini blinds or anything. Question, is that a DC thing or do homes come with window coverings?

They usually take the window coverings off when the home is for sale to allow for ample sunlight to flood the living area.
