@@PaoloCavestro-ey9bb Actually it's pretty widely recognized that those numbers are not story facts, but actually completely made up. First off, the source that claims that number is the Black Book of Communism, and is pretty widely discredited by historians. You also seem to have mistaken the Chinese 60 million figure that the book claims for the Soviet one, the book recognizes the total for the Soviet Union as 20 million, and when 2 of the 3 major contributors to the book later retracted their supported, they also admitted that they had inflated the numbers as much as possible, and at times even completely made them up to make it look worse.
Russians and Southerners have a lot in common, so this doesn’t surprise me. We are both stoic cultures. We take pride in facing adversities large and small.
