Yay, 👏 Nice to see Ashley cheering again!! That’s wonderful that she wants to continue to cheer. Just wondering 🤔 do they do any stretches before they start practice? She definitely looks tired, but she looked like she was having fun!! Is this the cheer group you’re helping out with?
This was just a stunt camp for her other squad, and yes, they do warm ups and stretches at the beginning of each practice. She doesn’t start this squad back up until late fall. She starts her sideline football cheer squad now, which is what I’m coaching.
She is way tired but it is good for her. She loves it. Seeing her so focused and excited is fun to watch. These kids learn new routines so quickly. Thx for watching and commenting.

Hope you got some good rest and woke up feeling better in the morning. I’ve stayed quite healthy all summer, but staff returns to school next Tuesday and the students return the following Monday so I’m expecting to be sick by Labor Day weekend. Lol
Oh no Dayna, not you to. So many people getting summer colds. I took 3 days off of working a few weeks ago, because I had a bad cold. That day I talked to you, I was glad I was feeling better, especially since you surprised me and told me you were on Maui. You could probably tell I was stuffy still. Thank goodness I am back to myself now. I hope you’re feeling better by now, summer colds are the worse. Especially when you have fun things planned!! Hope you’re all having a fun summer, it’s going by way too fast. I need to book a vacation somewhere warm over the winter!! The thought of the cold weather soon, is depressing!! It’s already getting down into low 50’s at night here in upstate NY. Hopefully the weather out your way is still nice, enjoy the rest of your summer!! 🌺☀️
If I remember correctly, didn’t something similar happen at this event last year? Is there a board or group of people who run this that you could reach out to just suggest a more fair judging process? I would be so sad for my kid if they put as much effort in as yours did and were genuinely excited to see if they could win but never had a chance due to unfair judging. It really sucks the joy out of stuff like this, I’m so sorry that this happened. Love the girls day you had with the older three, always fun to shop!
I think the judges heard us loud and clear last year, which is why they changed how the designs would be voted on. Problem was that they didn't have someone manning one of the voting boxes and tickets the whole night. Someone was over by us most of the time, but she also was one that kept giving extra tickets to boys trying to stack the deck. I think I'll talk to the committee next year to see what we can come up with that's a little more fair. Not that my kids need to win, but if they are going to have a contest with a theme, I think the winner needs to abide by that. And then maybe the committee can issue an overall award for someone of their pick.
@@daynacreates1105 I agree, and making the change for future contests makes it more fair for everyone. Your girls will grow up and eventually no longer participate but there will be many other kids behind them through the years that will benefit from the change.

Thank you for noticing! It's hard to see on myself the progress, but I am fitting in smaller clothes which is really nice. I'm making good progress, which is a huge motivator in and of itself.

Another one of my neighbors packed up a u-haul truck yesterday and were off to drop her at college. I have only been in my house 4 years and it’s been nice seeing the neighborhood kids growing up!! I think Chelsey really misses Caylee, but they talk every day and stay in touch via text. They are always checking in about the chicken too which is cute. Luckily, Caylee will be home for Thanksgiving, but sooner if the weather turns and they need a better car. They'll make a quick weekend home to say and and swap. Or we can take a drive to meet them and hang out somewhere in the middle.

Ah, the Lowes date, we had to buy a new toilet this year and opted to get a better seat. We prefer the easy release and a soft close so when you close the lid, it doesn't slam down. Things you don't think you ever have to consider but occasionally we have to 'adult'. lol

Your walking journey is an inspiration -- so happy for you all is going great and the results show!! Sorry about the guinea pig but that is the same situation in our house -- my husband is so allergic to most animals. Bluey is super cute - i have watched many many episodes with my grandsons - we love the show. Have a great week.

I know grown-ups who are obsessed with Bluey. I've never watched it. What flavor bundt cake did Abby choose? Can't wait to see her birthday decorations and gifts. It will be nice to see her on camera, hopefully.
Oh no seriously! I couldn’t even imagine giving an animal to a kid without even asking the parents ahead of time. Crazy! My mom is like Jason with Guinea pigs. Their dander is crazy how it gets in the air. Super cute animals but not ideal for a lot of people.
I think the mom wasn't thinking too far beyond the kids camp when she gave away the animal. And Ashley said she could take it! I agree that the adult should have asked us ahead of time before presenting it to the kids. Jason freaked out when I told him about it! Panicked is more like it! Luckily, I've seen him have these horrible allergic reactions, so I knew to say no to the pig. :)
I love a good, long, uninterrupted car chat with a friend. It seems like it’s been forever with me and my good friend. We are just in different stages her with littles and mine young adults. When we get together look out it endless hours of chit chat 😂 The rest of my friend circle is centered around cheer so we are always together and caught up. The only down side is, no one to vent to/ get advice from about issues in that circle without it being/feeling gossipy.
I can see how your friend groups are good for you in a lot of ways, but also hard as well. The cheer mom groups have been fun to make these past few years for me. I love that we've traveled together now too, so it's made it even more real. We are all looking forward to more travel with each other in the future.

Glad you’re enjoying walking and it’s working well for you ❤ I had my oral surgery yesterday and finally got my upper denture. It was pretty rough last night but I’m feeling a little better today. Saw my primary dentist this morning and she made the first minor adjustment and the fit feels better. I have one more extraction to go in the bottom of my mouth and then things will be back on track. Which will be such a relief. Oh hey my hubby finally found a part time job that fits with all the restrictions the doctor wrote in lieu of his traumatic brain injury. He’s working four hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday mornings preparing and serving breakfast to seniors at a local assisted living facility. It’s only 16 hours a week but he is glad to be out of the house and serving others.
I hope you are recovering well by now! That had to be a rough surgery and recovery getting used it all. And congrats on your husbands new job! That's great!
My almost 11 year old likes Bluey too. I thought it was strange, but she would tell me her whole class would watch Bluey during lunch at school and I have seen one of her classmates wearing a Bluey tshirt. My mind is blown, but I suppose they could have much worse interest.
I think it's just a really good show for kids to watch, with good life lessons in each episode. I just find it funny that the older kids still like it. But it's also ok that she does! Could be a lot worse things to watch.
