Nice looking X3 you have there! I just bought a 2024 X3 M40i and love it so far..surprisingly quick! I just hit 1k miles so no maintenance yet however my wireless charging pad has not worked since I got it...trying to figure it out on my own but probably need to have it looked at. Not a big deal since the plug in charger works fine but still...brand new car!!
Have you thought about trying to see what number it’ll run once you get the tuning sorted? I’m not hesitant at all to think it will be in the high 10s.
On the G01 (pretty sure on most modern bmw’s)…. there’s a little half circle indent on the plastic undertray. that’s where you jack up the front. on the rear. it’s okay to jack up from the diff. just make sure to have wood or rubber protecting it from metal on metal contact with the jack.
@@alexleeteehee@alexleeteehee In the UK, there is no 540i (we only get 520i), so if you want something suitable for carrying passengers, the next option is the X3 M40i. BMW is trying to turn car enthusiasts into soccer moms.

oil is oil. castrol, LM, shell, valvoline… all very proven brands with a reputation behind them. just down to personal preference and price. 5w-30 because 0w-20 is just way too thin for a car pushing more than stock power. also i live in texas where conditions get pretty hot. every 5-6k miles.
V1 is 1 hose from pcv and 1 hose from crankcase ventilation. V2 is 2 hoses from pcv and 1 hose from crankcase ventilation. not sure what you mean by “second hose”
Not sure if I missed it but how much did the setup run your for the turbo. Roughly how much for install ik hes your friend but im hoping to do the same path but dont know about price. 2021 x3 m40 im working with
4500 shipped for the set up. labor is probably gonna be around 800-1500 depending who and where you take it to. and i’m pretty sure 2021 needs femto unlock unless you already have it done and plan on staying on the same tuning platform

Rattle in rear passenger area, check the pano shade where the ends ride in the rail. You should be able to grab the end of the sun shade and wiggle it, does it make a rattle sound?
waiting for some tuning on 93. est 520 tops probably. still gotta get flex fuel and all and should sit around 650hp since i’ll be limited to transmission at 610ftlb
@@alexleeteehee Nice. We all know who work on BMWs that turbos a d superchargers blow thing up, the more you us them, the more they will distroy your engine. Now if your tracking/racing it dose not matter you are aware of the situation. No problem. Just many track and racing experiences. Thanks again. BMW Mechanical Engineer.
