I have the same car with similar mods. I dragy tested it with stage 2 93. Then did the TU pump and flashed 2+ 93. There was no improvement in 0-60 or 1/4 mile. Did you do any testing between stage 2 93 and stage 2+ 93?
i didn’t but make sure your variables are as similar to testing original stage 2. this is making sure you’re in the same road/section/slope, similar humidity & temp, and weight in the car. Stage 2+ really makes a difference with e30. i believe you may be making 1-3psi more boost and a little bit more timing
@@alexleeteehee I'm limited to 93 octane around here. The conditions were the same, except the DA was +2,000ft. Still, BM3 claims +50hp and +130tq on 93 from stage 2 to 2+. you’re not gonna see much gain in mph bc you’ll always be capped by the limits of the turbo itself. need more exhaust flow and air in to increase fueling and timing for the upper ranges
When you use a steel bolt in an aluminum engine block, you can get galvanic corrosion. You're boy might also be right that the fuel is causing corrosion because aluminum and ethanol don't like each other. Just throw some zinc based Never Seez on steel bolts that go into aluminum and you should be good to go for a long time.
Turn the car on and Disconnect the FPC next time to de-pressurize the fuel system. Also remove and install the HPFP a few screw turns at a time to drive the unit in evenly.
Hey Alex, love seeing your content man keep it up. I have a saphire black m40i and absolutely love it. I was in the market for an X5, drove the X3M and eventually got the m40i - I like the low down torque and suspension much more than the S58. Been having a stage 2 on my ride for a few months now. The DP is a little too loud/metalic sounding. I got the stone-exhaust eddy. May need to do some work there, but I don't wanna restrict the airflow too much. Just started following you on Instagram
