This is all fine, but atheists are not inherently more or less sinful than any theist is. Furthermore there isn't any action imaginable that isn't permitted or justified in some theistic religion, so none of this prevents anyone to still believe in a God, while having no limitations whatsoever in their lives...

So atheists that were former christians (including myself) feel much freer since we don't feel like a dictator in the sky is stalking us and getting upset about what we do with our privates; meanwhile you feel the need to say "well you will suffer for eternity if you don't repent" Man am I glad I'm out of that worldview.
