Doesn’t the scripture say that during the 3 days he was dead he went to hades and preached the gospel to the dead so they could be judged by that standard? “They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.” I Peter 4:5-6 NKJV “(Now this, “He ascended”-what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)” Ephesians 4:9-10 Correct me if I’m misinterpreting this scripture here. Abraham was saved, he was righteous, counted to him by faith. “Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”” Hebrews 10:38 NKJV “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,” I Corinthians 6:9 NKJV “Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.” I John 3:7 NKJV “So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’” Luke 16:22-26 NKJV ^in this scripture we see that Abraham and the poor man are in “paradise” where the theif on the cross went, aka hades(the realm of the dead). So we see that there is a place the righteous and the unrighteous go, the people in paradise are fs in heaven.
