Do you think that pump could handle like a 2 Gallon dish? Since moving from WA to MO my dogs have been finicky drinking their water and I think they may need a filter, this would be great to add
Love your jungle 🧡. If possible in the future I would love to see videos of plants that can live together in the same pot 😍. I always get overwhelmed trying to figure out which plants can probably thrive together 😅 so I end up just having them separate. Also been looking for plants that can live in water with nutrients and all 👀 (I’m more of a visual learner and I haven’t found many helpful videos). I saw your fountain video, for sure I’ll try it out in the near future 💕. I want to try having a calathea in water ( I struggle with them in soil 😢). Thanks for your videos and time 🙌
Thank you so much for this, I have two feral that loves to drink out of the tap of running water and I have one that loves to unplug the fountain and pull in for a ride not interested in the cord to eat it just love to pull toys around so I cannot have anything like it so I was looking for something natural with plants because they seems to love to lay by them and love the sound of water and I am so thankful for this because I spend my morning, afternoon evening and sometimes if I get up in the middle of the night , I can’t refuse those eyes looking at me and my feral Thomas will win instead of sending him to the bowl lol 😂 So thank you so much of introducing this pump I would have not thought about it and I have 8 rescues the will love this in their playroom and one in my kitchen 𓃠♡
Wish i had enough laminate floor space for something like this! My apartment is so tiny. This type of build is definitely on the list once I move into a house in a few years.
Yes. Some sunlight is a good idea. Moss can be a low light plant but not a no light plant. Maybe led daylight spectrum lights on for 12 hours a day would be sufficient, but I don't know for sure.
A couple questions: 1. How do the plants survive without soil? What's the difference between clay stones and regular ones? 2. How do you know when the water level is too low for the pump before it burns itself out? 3. How often do you have to empty everything to clean the fountain, as I'm sure sediment and calcium accrue on the stones and bowl.
@@ryanlanyito clean the fountain you must remove all plants and pebbles I'm assuming? I'm curious about the plant care, the constant level of water on their roots and the absence of soil wouldn't make their root to rot? I've heard cats love to drink water from moss, I guess if I want to make this kind of fountain with moss the process is pretty much the same? Btw, amazing video!! I truly loved it, that kitty is such a lucky one ❤
We love this fountain and tried to duplicate it, but neither of the Repto Filter links in your descriptions worked for us. We also caught a glimpse of the QR code on the bottom of your box, but that didn’t work either. We searched online for the filter at Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. but they only have the 60 GPH filter instead of 90. Yours is perfect! and exactly what we’ve been wanting. Do you have any idea if the Repto 60 GPH filter will function close enough to your 90? You are a fantastic 😍❤ brother. How about joining our family? 😊🎉🤞
How often does the filter need changing? Do you have to run the filter 24 hrs. Can it be turned off at night? This is the best cat fountain I’ve found!
Change filter about ever other month. You can turn it off for awhile, but the water needs oxygen to stay clean so I don't recommend it. Watch so it doesn't overflow as the water drains out of the pump!
It’s such a hot summer and I was looking for a simple do it yourself fountain for two of my feral outdoor kitties and I love this I’m gonna make it for them! I wanted to ask you, did you use the full 10 L bag of the clay pebbles on Amazon because I would only use it for this one project should I get one smaller? Thx for sharing!!! Love it!
