My capping station will not move up and down, after i put a new one in and also reinstalling the old one. The gears wont engage to go up and down when the printer spins its gears that are supposed to be interfacing with the capping station
@richwords1 i havent messed with any settings other than the stock controls located on the printer itself. The mounting holes all line up and it seems to mount fine. It's something I am doing and a mechanical thing I think. Any guides for installing or replacing one on an 8550 you know of?
Hi, great tutorial! But when I press on the Step Align it prints a Yellow line which is hard to see, unlike on your video which is in black ink. Anyone having the same issue as mine? TIA.
i only get error 16 when i start to print. initialize fine. nozzle test and clean is not a problem. any idea what is happening? i change the print head, but still error is there. when i disconnect the print head. no error is there.
@@richwords1 i have tried three new heads. but the problem persists. I also feel the problem is with the print head, but i have checked it on another printer and the head works. i have changed the cable, and the chip as well. but color head does not print.
@@user-os6th8rz5z use a multimeter to take the reading. If it reads less than or more than specified on the board. Then you know straight away that there is a problem.
Hi what could be the problem when the printer prints faint colours i have done the flush and even cleaned the head with a flush chemical instead it now prints a blue colour but very faint?

It's difficult to determine that. But a quick troubleshoot is to test the ailing heads in another printer with xp600 printer head. If they print. They it will be easier to troubleshoot why your machine is not printing it. But please note that you can buy a new printer head that's not printing. But I'm not sure you can be that unlucky two times in a row.
@@richwords1 its better but actually unnecessary as one is trying to concentrate on what you are saying. You will be unsuccessful in getting likes because of this.
@@richwords1 thankyou i bought epson modified printer with xp600 head it was working fine untill now but now its summer here i finished 1ltr cleaning solution within this month just by cleaning capping station and through dampers but i am not able to get white i get white for a while and then it stop coming after sometime what is your suggestions on that i am from sikkim,india
@@richwords1 thankyou for giving me ur precious time i was using l18050 modified to dtf now i have that original mainfold and dampers and now i have orderd xp600 mainfold and dampers because that original is hard to clean i haven't open it yet i will replace it and definitely try your idea thankyou so much i will share you my results 👍🙏
Hi. Do you know how to solve pixelated red dots on solid colour? I have a logo. The background is mustard yellow. Files in coreldraw is c1 m17 y95 b0. Have red dots all around the yellow. The mustard yellow is more brighter instead of dark yellow.
