I have problem error 16, i already try 3 brandnew printerhead all error 16 but when i turn on the the machine with no printer head install the error is gone, flex and adaptor flex are already replace to good 1..

Go and test the 3 printer heads on another machine.

Where can I see the chip? I disconnected my flex cables and the error 16 disappeared. So the Mainboard is not the problem. So it's among the three: 1. Flex Cables 2. Chip 3. Printhead But where is the chip located?

The chip is where the other ends of two printed cables are connected to. But they mostly aren't the problem. It's either the cables of the heads. A shorter method of troubleshooting is to try testing the Printer head and the cables on another machine.

i only get error 16 when i start to print. initialize fine. nozzle test and clean is not a problem. any idea what is happening? i change the print head, but still error is there. when i disconnect the print head. no error is there.

@@richwords1 i have tried three new heads. but the problem persists. I also feel the problem is with the print head, but i have checked it on another printer and the head works. i have changed the cable, and the chip as well. but color head does not print.

When when you get an error 16 when the nozzle opens only, the only other place to check is the power board. The 42v board

@@user-os6th8rz5z use a multimeter to take the reading. If it reads less than or more than specified on the board. Then you know straight away that there is a problem.
