I reallly like your vidoes . Well done. Yes the winter is tough, we had our Ebenezer comp last week, really difficult catching 5 keepers. So you did great.
Start nymphing, zero casting, use split ahots to get your flies down in quicker water, adjust your line at 1.5 the depth your fishing in, get PTN hot spots
IM YOUR 1thousendth Subscriber ... Love the content .. PLease could you do a winter fishing video on how to catch in winter PLS... I am strugling to catch in kzn
THANK YOI SO MUCH MAN!!!🥹 I appreciate you! Of course bro! I’m going to try apply some tactics this weekend at a competition and I will post that video next week Saturday!🎣😁🙌🏼
We unfortunately won't be going back for a while there, never mind bottles, plastic, shoes and clothes but the amount of feces we saw was just disgusting. Some great catches though.
What’s up man! We got our first 5 fish along the bank opposite croc bay… between the first curve on the river and where it opens up onto the main dam😁 Here we got our fish by flipping into the grass mats against the reeds🎣 In the afternoon we got a few fish in the salad bowl on the far right hand bank by fishing the edges of the grass lines😁 Goodluck man!!!🎣😁
Thank you so much ❤hope to see you at the next event Edit: wow I woke up today and was surprised when I found out I got over 70 subscribers It would not be possible without you @nunesbassin11 thank you very much
Hi David, what a beautiful dam. Yip 110 would chill most of us... big fun though. I know very little about bass fishing (papgooi mostly), and only recently started to explore it. Saw a number of clips on bassing at Witbank Dam, including yours. I'm fishing from the bank at this stage... any tips? We will be doing some research surveys on bass (and carp) at Witbank Dam from 20 to 25 June. Cheers
What’s up man, thanks for reaching out!😁 Bank Bass fishing can be quite tough in the winter… luckily the spawn of just around the corner and then you’ll have tons of fun on the bank!🥳 For bank fishing, I generally target areas that will have a higher concentration of fish… reeds, grass, rocks etc. A baitfish imitation like a fluke, works very well for me from the bank! One thing I’ve learnt, don’t be afraid to cast into open water… read the terrain along the bank, it will likely be the same in the water. For example, if you see rocks on the edge of the water, they most likely go into the dam. So even though it looks like you’re casting at nothing, the bottom is actually full of structure!😁 Tight lines my man!🎣🎣
Thank you so much Tinus! It was awesome meeting you and Thomas!🥳 Once again, very well done!!! We’ll make a plan to meet on the water again soon! … LOSKOP!
